1st of all I REALLY tried to stay out of this, really really tried...but I have a few questions that are eating me up and have nothing to do with dots!!!
ithurtswnipee:
Not a single one of you malcontents can get a rise out of me. Stand in front of me like a man and try. I'll shake your hand for trying.
I did! You were so mad you threatened me, and said you had your "Intel Unit" investigating me...I can link the thread if you like...all in fun I assure you, so does that mean I'm not a malcontent? :-)
PS. I was a great father to two Marine Intel officers that were taken by sadistic people. As hard as I try they won't take me. Try out living your only children and tell me your sorrows.
It's really hard to tell with you anymore, but if this is in fact true you have my condolences....which brings us to my question...just a few months ago a poster called "flippityfloppity" appeared here, his posts were written exactly like yours, same misspells and everything, the word "speach" comes immediately to mind.....you told me in this forum that he was your son, who is in Military Intelligence and home on leave, then he suddenly disappeared...I think my question is obvious! If the above is true, who was flippityfloppity?
As for the sentence in bold print, I would think all one would have to do is go to almost ANY country in the Middle East on a USA passport and walk down any street ...
Just a couple more if I may!
Usually the rank of Warrant Officer(WO 4) is given to someone who has dedicated his life to the Marines above and beyond retirement eligibility, very hard to achieve and very well deserved to those who achieve it...but usually MOS specific ie: MP's, Artillery, Motor Pool, Mess Hall, etc., not Intel, most unusual...
When did the US turn over "prisoner interrogation" to the Marines instead of the CIA types, and what would Intel Officers be doing in a "hot zone", I never once seen that in my short deployment, they are usually far away in a "command center" as they should be looking at satellite images and listening to radio transmissions?
Lastly, when I was in the corp we were sent to Vietnam, but we were in Laos the whole time, and we were under orders not to tell anyone because our Government said we were not there, if we did we were charged with treason, they read our mail , we couldn't even tell other Marines or family where we were....
My brother was in procurement in the USAF with a pretty high security clearance, when my taxes were audited many t/years ago it affected his security clearance...no bs
That said, if you do in fact do interrogations, one of the most important and controversial positions one could be in with this war on terrorism, you would have to have a VERY HIGH security clearance, wouldn't you be in deep sh!t for talking about it in a golf forum, I mean at the very least wouldn't some guy in sunglasses come to your house saying "Mannnnn, WTF are you doing"?
