the meter speed says 3.5 but it doesnt seem to be, it seems to be somewhere between 3.0 and 3.5, i have the x2 3w as well and the meter is so much different in speed, i have used both since they were released and they seem very different, im not complaining im just asking does anyone notice the difference.

i played a few rounds lately with people and they seem afraid to use it off the tee as its its so  unpredictable, why have it in the bag if you wont use it .

Well it behaves until it wants not to, and it should not misbehave as much when dinged IMO with the specs it is sold with.  Mine seems to be behaving better recently, but hate tempting the gods saying that:)

If you are going to miss the ding with it make sure you miss smart, not wrong side.

IMNSHO I also think people expect too much with meter speed specs anyway.  The last second woosh has always been there (often v noticeably so with irons), and nothing will ever be perfectly linear.  If people want tick tock same with every club every day ain't there to be found, just got to run it through to get a feel and then do your worst.

All that said it does have those extra yards,  shows excellent stopping power, can conjure some marvelous shots and so stays in the bag of most for that.  It also gets sworn at when it misbehaves.  It can root you good and proper if you can't ding it, and miss by much at all it will get sworn at very vigorously:).............All that said  it's not so hard to often get close to ding with, for many, with some practice.

I think all the specs on clubs need to be taken with a grain of salt. (Where does that expression come from anyway).

I had upgraded my 3 wood to the MAX Meter mainly for the 4.0 forgiveness and found if I missed the ding on that the forgiveness was nowhere near 4.0. Got really frustrated with that and finally threw it in a pond and got the BB3W. Even at 2.5 forgiveness it still seems much better than the MAX ever was.

There's always a little trepidation when I have to pull it out because of the lack of forgiveness (even more so when water is on the right or left) but I would take it again in a heartbeat over the MAX.

I'd gladly trade meter and forgiveness.  Gimme a fast meter and be more forgiving when I miss ding.  She does not follow directions when you're slow on the draw.
