Hello wise-men and women of WGT forums.

To start with, I will just say that I have read several post about this matter, but did not seem to find the right answer. So here we go.

As the headline mentions, i am currently lvl.35 with around 5k credits. I like this game, but reached a point where I want to invest in greater equipment to enjoy the game more.

Is it the right way to invest in full Club Sets, for an example PING G25 Full set (L35+) and buy wedges on the site? Or is it better to handpick clubs and by that pay a higher price all together?

I look forward to get good advices about what to do, and what clubs you guys recommend.

    Sincerely

    HtBoesen

Ht, the first set of high trafectory irons are the lvl 59 Pings. The ping set is very good. I know you wont to get something now but if you get your points for playing every day it will not take long to get there. You will also need 3 nicely spaced wedges. Enjoy

You just hit the level for the low-tier Ghost Spider, and that costs 800 credits, and can last into the 70's.

    The best thing to do is to be aware of how quickly you will move up the level ladder and to buy anything, at once, that provides more spin with all wedges and balls. All of this stuff you will need to change like underwear ;-}

    Good evening

im ready to buy some irons but I'm torn between the Taylor mades speed blades and the Nike irons. Do you know which irons has the slower meter?  Thanks Derick

What I found worked best for me as I moved up the ladder was the following ...

    1. Upgraded driver for more dist off the tee ... I moved up to a Nike then to the Xhot Callaway ...

    2. Upgraded balls with more spin to stop better on the greens until I could get to the Higher flighted irons ...

    3. Wedges with more "bite" .. I just went to the Cleveland wedges as soon as I could ..

And with any of the upgrades check the impact of the meter speed ... if you're like me, I have a case of the twitchy finger a lot ... the slower meter speed helps me .

Good luck as you move up ...

Wait a few more levels for the G25's. Higher trajectory, 300c cheaper (vs Speedblades), and the PW is 10 yards longer as well. It's also the same meter speed as the L54 Speedblades as well, only issue is .5 less forgiveness, though shouldn't be an issue with this meter speed.

At L38-39 there are 3 ATV wedges @ 495 credits each. 98 yard, 77 yard and 50 yard. Wait til you get there, get those 3.

I wouldn't worry about new irons or woods until you reach Master and the tees are further back.

    Just my 2¢

Buy nothing until the upper 40s, and then get the driver that will easily take you to legend.

It's absurd how good that club is.
