WGT had better get their act together really quickly now with this invite issue. I usually come in here in the mornings, a little bit in the afternoons and the evenings, it used to be that I could find 25 to 30 of my friends and CC members in here. But now there are maybe just 10 or 12 on in the evenings and that is solely due to not having the facility to easily invite friends to play in A/S or any other form of game.
Our CC is fairly new and members are just being coming in and playing for daily points and playing a very few rounds and leaving.
An increasing number of WGT players are looking at and playing on other golf games such as Links and Perfect Parallel. We freely admit that these are not as good in many ways as WGT, but at least you can invite and play with your friends, so I can hardly blame people for doing that.
I had a response from WGT Customer Services last night which hardly fills me with confidence regarding them resolving this issue:

Thank you for contacting us at WGT. We are aware of the Invite issue. It is more difficult to correct an issue that is server related however we believe that a resolution is coming to our players within the next week or two. We do not have an the exact time frame on when this correction will be made.

Not exactly brimming with confidence that is it !! All I do know is they had better get a move on or else a large number of people will find their entertainment elsewhere
