    I'm surprised you haven't applied for junior tees Read as you find the ladies tees such a stiff test, i'm sure wgt would make a concession for you. I often wondered in the past if you were serious or just a massive wind up merchant.

    At least you have persevered with the mickey mouse tourneys that you always insisted were such a challenge, keep it up and one day you may have a half decent looking average. You'll probably take this as a personal attack as you always used to, it's not, we all seek different things from this game and all have our opinions.

    Thank you however for the continuing amusement :)

    You can lose quite a few more balls off the shorter tees...  It's good fun, you should try it more ...lol

    But, we've all played from the shorter tees when we were hacks and still trying to learn our way around this great game.

    However, I prefer my sport to be a challenge (which it is), not just a casual stroll in the park.

    Personally I have nothing against playing  few rounds off the shorter tees. If you're playing against other equally matched players - you still have to do well to shoot mid 20's on the non-P3 courses. It can be great fun to see who can Eagle more holes.

    It is a good practice for your short game - that comes in handy of you mess up a drive from the car-park on a P5 -- at least you will have seen these shorter shots before.

    Also - some of the most spectacular shots come from the short tees on Par 4s that become reachable from the tee - such as Kiawah #3 & RSG #2. Some of my biggest buzzes came from nailing a Drive from 300+ yards with strog winds t within a few inces (haven't holed out on one yet - but one day...)

    What I do find odd - is limiting the growth of your own game, and your club members by restricting tournaments to the easiest settings. You get to practice in your own club on the hard stuff, and then have a go out in the WGT tourneys - it's how we develp our own games.

    So if you want to score low - trust me, rather than making the game easier, it is a lot more satisfying to do it tough.

    One of the most sensible and truest comments I have seen for a while. I left my last cc because it was awash with front tee, low wind unlimited play tournaments where scores in the 20's and 50's were easy.

    I now belong to a cc where these tournaments are not allowed and the majority are set up with pretty tough conditions. It is far more satisfying to feel you have earnt your average this way and you will become a much more rounded and experienced player

    In my opinion I cant wait for a 81y Par 5 on Merion. I find the greens difficult and think that would be very enjoyable... and still a true challenge.

    Also can we please buy tee pegs from WGT... I find it very discomforting hitting balls from the grass off the tee.

    Please also consider making Stephan Hawkins tee markers for some people. That would be lovely.

    A bit off topic but following the general tangent. 

    I host a weekly tourney for my CC. 

    Default Tees. 

    Uneven Lies. 

    We have 14 or so dedicated souls who play it with some regularity. It's handicapped to give all skill levels a shot at whatever the prize of the week is. 

    Challenging. 

    Some have reported all of a sudden winning a few creds from the WGT unevens. Kinda fun to play this game where 3 under for 18 is a good score.

    MR.  Pipala .   Pip  , Pip ,  Pip  What  are  you  doing  here  with  these  3  laughing  hyena's namely  Willie  ,  Nicos  ,  and  Hakman123  whoever he is (  i  don't  know ) 

    At  our  old  Club , (from which so many have  fled or been  tossed  such  as  myself )  you  once  referred  to  me  as  the  life  of  the  Club ...  and  often   complimented  me  on  my  generosity  for  the  many  sleeves  I  offered  as  prizes  to  winners  of  my  tournaments or  for  the  ctth  on   a  par 3  during  that  same  tournament ...  What  you  may  not  know  is  that  I  also  bought  top  shelf  $25.99   Drivers  and  Putters and  lesser  gifts  for  Members  I  felt  possessed  much  skill   in  the  game ...  I    once   wrote  both  on  your  wall  and  in  our  forum  of  your  skills  in  writing  so  eloquently  ( a skill i  struggle  with ) which  was  on  your  wall  for  many  months ...  but   alas  it  has  vanished  and  you  now  refer  to  me  as   '' just  a  massive  wind  up  merchant ''  

    MR.  Pipala  ,  I  was  sponsoring  tournaments  in  our  old  club  since  I was  a  Tour Pro  through  Legend  in  my  nearly  2  years  there  under 3  owners  starting  in  2011 ..  I  was  highly  complimented  as  having  much  talent  in  creative  unique  presentations at  that  time , now  long  gone  and  apparently  forgotten ...  I  HOSTED  tournaments  only  for  the  lesser  Tier  Groups  (  of  which  i  was  one )  Latter  I  hosted  Partner's  tournaments  between  Higher  &   Lower  Tiered  Partners  ,   Tournaments  for  those   whose  averages  were  - ABOVE -  65.00  ,  Tournaments  Between  CONTINENTS in  which  one  very  successful  and  most  praised  Tourney  was  The  International  Cup. This  was  a  match  between  The  Flags  of  Team  U.S.A.  &  The  Flags  of  The  World  with  AMBASSADORS  From  each  Country  Appointed of  which  You  were  once  the  Ambassador  from The  U.K  .  This  was  played  on  2  separate  Scoring  sheets  on  our  tournament   page which  kept  the  scores  of  both  independent  yet   running  Simultaneously  and  all  during  this  time  ,  well  over  a  year  I  never  touched  the  TEE  SETTINGS  even  once .. These  were  phases  I  went  through  and  enjoying it  all  the  while without  asking  a  single  soul  for  assistance  at  any  time ... other  than  asking  the  Ambassadors  to  round  up  plenty  of  mates  for  this  event .   This  event  was  played  3  times .  The  1st  2  with  out  altering  the  tee  boxes ..  We  Played  4  rounds of  9  holes ,  front  and  back  at   Kiawah  &  St.  Andrews  with  the  grange  finale  being  The  All  Flags  Banquet  at   PIP'S  PUP  ...

    I  was  using  default  tees  for  about  18  of  my  21  months  at  the  old  club  if  memory  is  still  my  possession .... but  did   take  a  liking  to  the  short  tee's  to  the  astonishment  and  pleasure  of  those  of  us  who  were  less  talented  or  had  only  limited  equipment  and  Level  Numbers  and  i  even  ran  International  Cup  (  3  )  with  the  E - Z  TEE'S  ....  Yet  I  did  not  do  this  exclusively ,  as  now  assumed  I  also  hosted  regular  tee  tournaments  as  well ... but  did ( during this  phase )  prefer  the  easiest  tee's  ....  and  it  was  fun  and  popular  for  many  of  us , some of  who  also  left  our  old  club  to  join  me  here  at  my  own  relaxed  friendly  , quiet  club ... of  e -z tee's ...  

    Forget  these  3  hyena's  who  preceded  you  here  ,  You  once were  a  man  of  dignity   -  reclaim  your  shield and  sword  if  you  care  to ,  but  do  keep  in  mind  that  we  WGT  addicts  only   point  and  click  with  a  plastic  computer  mouse while  our  greatest  competition  is  a  mere  spring  fed  shot  meter 

    Some  of  us  are  old  and  older  ,  some  disabled  or  both old  and  disabled  but  we  apparently  all at  least   attempt  to  enjoy  WGT  as  we  each  choose  to ...   and  there  exist  many  more  ten's  of  thousands  around  this  world  who  have  also  shown  a  preference  for  E - Z Tee's ,  I'm  not  alone ..

    We no  longer  need  rise  with  the  Sun  on   any  given  Saturday  or  Sunday  to  join  our  mates  ,  our  foursome  or  real  club  tournaments  any  longer ...  We  need  not  compulsively  play  in  a  light  rain  with  expensive  golfing  shoes ,  smacking  out  real  hooks   and  slices ,  getting   blistered  fingers  and  sore  feet  and   heavy  legs  while  pounding  up   the  later  fairways  hell  bent  on  finishing  strong  while  now   day    dreaming  of  the  foam  and  water  beads  on  our  frosted   beer  glass  after  a  few  more  holes  ...  We  have  each  other  and  WGT ...

    Its my opinion. Thats is all.

    Playing your tournaments is like playing Pacman... but only level 1 and then reset and start  over 10 000 times. Sure the the monster will catch you once in awhile, but usually when ure not concentrating. Its absolutely ludicrous to spend this much time at a game and writing essays in the forums and not challenge yourself?

    As for your International tournaments. It was a total flop. You decided to boikot the real Rider Cup and start an easy tee tournament...where, if my memory serves me right a Belgian won the American bracket.

    10 000 + people feeling the same as you, I do not believe this. You have 6 active members after 6 months. I wonder how they feel about u calling them old and disabled?

    The only sense I can make of it all is that u must be a very nice guy, giving the folk of WGT a laugh once in awhile on the forum. If not I can only wish you luck in whatever ure trying to accomplish

    Totally agree. Nobody in our CC gives a rats whatever about scores or avgs or levels. Playing from different tees makes things more fun.
