Just to provide a backup scorecard since my partner's didn't turned out too well -

Just a fantastic match for us both to come back like that against the excellent team of Sixkiller & Soulcatcher as at one point I really thought we were out of it !

The S&S team started hot with great birdies at the first 2 holes and they were a little unlucky to lose the next hole on the slick green.  Then on the 14th disaster struck for us when I got metered badly with the approach shot and the S&S team stuck it close to about 7ft ! Then the unthinkable happened when my screen froze and after hanging out for ages with the hope it might load again, i got disconnected ! We were lucky not to lose the game completely and was able to continue after 2 more restarts, where more drama was to follow when the S&S missed their short putt and halved the hole.  That was a major let off for us and I think the disconnection might have got them distracted and lost concentration.

We then proceeded to halved the next few holes and unexpectedly managed to drew level when we won the 16th hole with a par.  At the next hole the S&S team was looking to regain the lead when they holed a long putt for birdie and I was left with a tricky bending 7 footer to halve the hole.  Talk about pressure and it showed because i managed to just squeezed the putt in on the side door !  On to the last hole and after the S&S team barely missed the edge of the hole with their birdie putt, my partner lived up to our nick name (the cool boys!) when he slammed his putt in to the heart of the hole for a huge come back win !

Thanks very much to Sixkiller & Soulcatcher for just an awesome game, you guys just played great team golf  but just didn't have any luck today.

Thanks to my partner for a memorable game, well played bro ! You gave me one huge rush of adrenalin when you sank that last putt buddy and I look forward to our next game ! :-))

Wow.... what a match. I couldn't post earlier because I was gutted by the loss.

I started making mistakes in the second half of the match and Coolswing and Imcoola didn't.

I thought we had you guys when I sank that 23 footer for the save........not to be.

Great playing guys. It was a great match........ carry the torch forward.

    GO DEVS

JimBean and DrTom take down Lvietri and NcViz 1 up in a streaky match.

Jim/Tom took a 3 up lead after 4 holes ...  Then Lou/Viz birdied 4 of the last 5 holes to surge back into the match.

But as happens more often than not .. hole 15 was the turning point.   Jim holed an incredibly hard chip shot from about 11 ft right side rough below the pin for par ... Lou/Terri couldn't get up and down for par from 12 ft in front of the hole ... and that was the match ... 3 down with 3 to play, Lou/Terri birdied the last 3 holes ... but a nice 18 footer on the last hole by Tom for birdie ended the comeback.

Nice game boys .. good luck in the final 4 ...

My slow PC stopped me getting it up before you Lou. Thanks to Terri and Lou for a real back and forth match. I likened L & T to a hibernating bear due to the slow start they made but once they got going there was some really delightful play, particularly with Terri's iron play. The 15th was definitely the key point of the game as I'd written that hole off once we were still short in three but the chip went in just as I envisaged it when setting the shot up.

A real hum-dinger of a game and the clutch putt on the last coming down and across the slope really tested my putting skills. Well played DT - genuinely thought that one was going to be the end of the road particularly after the approaches into 18.

Bump --- and i thought things would go quicker once we got down to a few teams.  Boy oh Boy was I wrong.

Ok with just 6 teams left ... that's 5 matches ---- 2 Quarter Finals --- 2 semi final matches and the final match  here is what we have.

The Tibbets Bracket twinners b0geybuster/Lowersss await the winner of the  Iconian bracket match between the last 2 deviations teams left.   If they are lucky they get to play one of the alltime greats in AvatarLee/JimGriff if they are unlucky they get to play the last #1 seed left in the tournament --- Coolswing/Imcoola.

The Nivlac Bracket winners Doctortom/Jimbean346 are salivating to play the winners of the Fluffton Bracket match between Cly6/Bartmania (who knocked off Bollox/Werksux) and Gangaman/Mrscrambe - who have advanced past the #2 and #3 seeded teams on forfeit..

Please get your matches in as soon as you can boys and girls.
