According to the rules, no substitutions are allowed.

What I don't understand is why some of the non-D teams (the best ones) are highlighted in yellow.  I think it's because they've been selected to play D teams, which makes it look like they're going to make the good non-D teams run a gauntlet -- they will never get an easy match, always having to play a Deviations team, etc.

There are no easy matches when playing the Deviations, that is what made this tournament fill quickly. Everyone wants a chance at the best if nothing else just to see how they measure up. This will be a big one and very tough matches for all, thanks everyone for signing up and soon we will enjoy the competition. Gary is working on his Indian Pole dancing, so get ready :)

I'd like to ask the folks in the tournament to please disregard any comments by Charlemagne who is not a participant ---- I can interpret the rules quite well myself since I did write them. In the future I will not address any of his comments.    I'd like to ask all of the participants to help keep this a non-argumentative thread.

Yoda .. to answer your question if someone bows out for an extraordinary reason (like they died) before the seedings are posted and wants to invite you that's ok with me - just tell them to message me.  Once the seedings are posted I am not going to re-do it and there will be no substitutions and the other person they will forfeit their next match.

For those of you curious ... the teams in yellow are only highlighted to point out some fo what I consider to be the better players in the game.    They will get higher seeds.   Since  the Deviations are sponsoring the tournament I have preseeded their 16 entrants 1 to 4 ... so the first non-Deviations seed will be a 5.   I will try to seed the first and second rounds based on 1) time zones and 2) my seedings.

    Thanks boys and girls.

Right, people sign up for a challenge, but the point was that highlighting them in yellow makes it seem as though those guys, in all of their matches, are going to have to face the toughest competition: themselves, Bolly/werk, price/dud, imcoola/coolswing, and other D teams.

It was probably a misunderstanding on my part, and the tournament won't end up rigged.  Nonetheless, it seemed like a possibility, seeing as how they were highlighted, and was merely voicing a concern.  I like to make sure competition is fair; that's all.

Thanks but ... since I noticed you didn't sign up for the competition... don't worry about it.   I think we can get along just fine.   Anyone who is a competitor please ask any questions you like.
