you "English" have to put up with the Union Jack as it is your flag. it is forced on every other country you lot colonise, im from Northern Ireland, but would not have an "English Flag" anywhere near me.

how do you practice perfect hits that fly left against the wind......swing meter glitches......same shots, same hits different results how do you practice for that

Seriously what kind of crap were you smoking when you mind that post... shots that fly against the wind? that could be useful lol

different results from the same shot? Isn't that the way its supposed to me. Tell me do you know exactly where a shot will end up before you strike a "real" golf ball

He or she is quite within their rights to support whatever team they want. That is a personal choice.

I couldn't shoot below a 70 on BPB until after I took notes and mastered the short game.  Now I probably average 60 on BPB.  Practice helps.  BPB requires an all-around game.  You can't just whack it on the green and two-putt your way to par.  If you aren't good at 10-40 -yard shots from off the green, you'll be getting bogeys and double bogeys on half the holes at BPB.  That's just how it is.

Oh, and if you think BPB is hard now, just wait until you get pushed back to the master tees... lol!

    Tattered Flag

Creeping up the sands, comes the sea in daily drive
Each wave a let, that lets me see my past
Ne'er would the water let all my friends survive
And as the tide is turning, taking back so fast
I clasp my hands together, fingers tightly furled
    In my palm my memories,twisted,tattered,curled

I think of days before, those where joy would gaily run
Of all the deeds we made, promises now unkept
The sunny days now past,I recall such unfettered fun
Remember too those nights, evenings when we wept
Another of us gone, taken far away, too far for us to get
In my palm my memories, folded, crumpled, tearstained wet

Once we stood upright, our standard crisply turned
Snapping full of colours, our flag could not be better read
Yet time and sickle, fey old man of death,he spurned
Taking one by one,and early so,souls he took for dead
The sand of shift between my toes, red sunset on the wave
In my palm my memories, taken swift but oh so brave

Left as if alone neath soaring lark and eagle wing
Hair whipped across my face, looking out I see them
Hand unstilled and at my heart,I silent softly sing
I still remember, and fond it is as true, their spirits I still ken
Wetness at my foot, and running down my cheek
In my palm my memories, with me yet I am weak

Turning landward bound,to the cliffs I must surmount
Heavy steps that drag, without my friends to help
Happy tho' my heart, that they of them gave fair account
Twisting snakes about my feet, hampered with slick kelp
Looking now then up,the quiver'd lip now stilled
In my palm my memories,I know my grasp is filled

Our flag that day was muted, the snap no longer loud
Torn and split asunder, each piece anothers soul
And yet for all of this,we stand together still, and oh so proud
Awaiting turn at demon joust, that sinouos curtain call
My hand is opened gentle, each finger one by one
In my palm revealed, memories fine of those now gone
My tattered flag our token,My piece of it still warm
And when I go like those before,it will lie atop my aching form

I'm not getting involved in the whole flag debate, just wanted to say that one of those friends in my poem, didn't come home. From Ireland.

    Lizzie.

    As for cheating? well.

This place was the key to my short game developing and bringing my average down realisitically, instead of playing St.Andrews 8 rounds out of ten. Even playing there as a TM, there are still a number of long par 4's which I find impossible to have anything other than chip/flop left to set up par as it is impossible to pull up a long iron 2nd shot on the dance floor, or reach the green when the wind is in your face .

The key was recognising those holes which were good birdie opportunities and seeking to make the most of them whilst ensuring par at those which aren't. As ChRH mentions, he and others in that league take notes and keep practicing. Taking notes and putting slide rules on my screen does my head in, so I just look to play it and learn the course and greens as much as I can, look to play good approach shots on the birdie holes, then trust an at times erratic putter. Same for every course, really. You won't get better if you don't.

I've had the chance to play against a couple of the GOOD legends here...they still made the same errors as me, just not as many, and when they did, were able to rectify very quickly and very effectively the majority of the time.

I reckon most of the cheating here comes in the form of sandbaggers chasing credits in MPC, and if you've got a bit of instinct and half a brain you're not going to let yourself get caught out there anyways, so they really shouldn't be a problem to anyone personally. If you're gonna play for credits, then thems the risks you take. Have only done so twice, would only play those games with someone I already know.

To LR, our wordsmith above....very fine. Can't say much more, really.

Said the guy with a MANCHESTER United profile picture, England not so bad for you now then?.lol ...If your so cut up about your flag, change your profile picture to your beloved flag. (theres been a few posts allready if you look, because its a bit off topic here in this post, but find patriots post here:http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/32924.aspx?PageIndex=1, from the Welsh, who arn't even represtented atall on the union flag, and the scots, even a few English aswell, remember, all "British" golfers are from their own countries in tournaments so Rory MacIlroy represents N.Ireland, Tim Westwood, England, Colin Montgomerie ,( If he's still around) Scotland, and Woosnam, wales.(see this link for proof!:http://www.pga.com/pgachampionship/2010/scoring. They never represent "Britain", so WGT should give us all the option.

And also on cheaters...........never ever seen one, maybe i have to get up earlier in the morning to see them, because all i see is GOOD players.
