    Hello everyone,

New kid here and I'm having some problems with mechanics and muscle memory.   In every other game I play I enable settings that give me the best chance to manufacture the same movement over and over again with great precision.

Tough to do in this game with a Driver at 4, iron at 4.5 and Putter at 5.  I've seen other threads requesting that sets of Irons/Drivers be sold with uniform meter speeds, and that's OK but not exactly what I'm looking for.

What do I want, lol?  I would like an option to DECREASE Meter speed on any given item (yes, my putter too).  If a club has a meter rating of 4.5 I don't see the harm allowing someone to lower it to 4, 3.5 or whatever your personal preference is.

I'm still very new and getting used to the game but I'd really like the ability to put all my clubs at the same exact speed so I can abuse muscle memory perfection!!  :D  Thoughts and comments?

    Hi,

In practice games we do offer the option to use Focus Boost which allows you to significantly slow down the swing meter which may help with the muscle memory you are trying to build. Thanks!

    All the Best,

Sounds like you're looking for a Cheat Engine. DON'T DO IT!

I see all forums are the same eh?  NO.  Not looking for a cheat engine but rather exactly what I asked for which is;  An in game option to slow down the meter of a given club.  Like when you're playing BF4 we have the Universal Soldier Aim button which allows the player to move at the same speed whether you're ADS or HIP FIRE.

This leads to perfect muscle memory and consistency.  The first response said use "boost" which is imo not anywhere near the same thing as a static adjustment.  Hopefully they'll add an option like I requested ;).

He's asking for a way to speed up his clubs, not slow them down.

NO, he is asking to be able to push a button or mark a box and have a slower meter speed, and for all his clubs to be identical.  No matter what clubs/balls he has bought.

Pick and choose ALL your clubs carefully and then do the same with balls until you get the speed you want.  I think that a full set of clubs can be put together(I really haven't checked) that will all have the same meter speed.  They may not be the clubs you really want, such as for distance or spin, but match the meter speed.

The other options is to practice more and get used to your clubs.  Simple

Please read his post again. He is asking to be able to push a button or mark a box and have a faster meter... unless he doesn't understand the meter ratings on clubs.

Edit:  Since I'm new my posts are delayed, so this is a rather redundant!  I already commented above.

As previous posters have implied (and said), lowering the meter speed rating from 4 to 3 actually accelerates the speed of the meter. If you want the meter to "FLY", play with the unlimited life "Starter Ball" or one of the 10 cent WGT cheapies with 0.0 meter speed.

If, on the other hand, you are trying to slow the meter - you will have to buy more expensive golf balls. Some of the "Max" balls will give you exceptionally slow meters (5.0 meter speed). The problem is that they don't give you much of anything else (like spin or distance).

If you re-read the threads, you will see that the better players are advocating the use of clubs with the same meter speed. If your driver, 3 wood, and irons all have the same meter speed, you will find that hitting the "ding" will get a little easier simply because of the consistent speed. It is great if your wedges match the other clubs, but as YankeeJim suggests, your mindset changes a bit when you use your wedges (therefore matching meter isn't as important).

I'm not that good, but I try to buy and use clubs with the same meter and adjust  the final meter speed with the ball that I use.

    Good luck.

If you are going to quote the OP, quote the entire paragraph, not just part of it.

The OP is backwards on the numbers concerning meter speed, higher is slower.  But notice the word in all CAPS.  I take that as what he is actually seeking.

I read this as he wants a slower meter.  I don't think I have ever seen a thread of someone requesting a faster meter.
