Okay this is really getting frustrating  Can WGT please answer either way.....

If quitters / LOSERS quit can the players that finish a 2 3 or 4 player rd please get the experience points for the holes that were played as a 2 some 3 some or 4 some.

If the player quits they get nothing but curses from remaining players or maybe game freezes.

BUT why should the players that FINISH the 9 or 18 hole round be penelized for the  quitters/LOSERS actions.

We put in the time some times 60+ minutes on rounds and then do not get our experience points. What a load of whatever.............

Do not believe would be that hard to write into program. Total points after each hole then only release after the round is finished.

Instead we have quitters/LOSERS that think they need to quit to protect averages ...........guess what bad rounds do not affect your average as much as it use to.

Am so flipping tired of playing a good or bad round then have quitters/LOSERS bail on last putt  even say good game hope we can play again some time.

I prefer groups to single play the chatting camaderie etc.....

So I hope that WGT can at least respond either ......it may be possible and we will at least look into it or say to bad to sad.

    Thanks for my vent

Yes I know people sometimes have to go or glitches cause problems but we should still get points for holes played with multi-players.

It's just been mentioned a thousand times and everyone is tired of dealing with the countless threads on the quitting topic. Everyone is learning to deal with the quitting issue, finally.

Have you thought about joining Golfseekers? This golf site doesn't tolerate quitters. You can also join a Country Club and enjoy playing golf with people who aren't quitters either.

    Richard,

They are alluding to somehow not getting the experience points after finishing a round that another player dropped out of - I think this is a bit different than just another rant thread on quitters.

Is this true, if you finish a round that someone else quits in, you don't get the experience pts? If so, I would hope that wgt acknowledges and correct this, cause that just 'aint right!

People want to quit fine let them, not sure how it protects average but hey they must be smarter then me.

I just want WGT to recognize the time spent by most regular players who do finish games that we at least get our due points so that we can level up.( not tier cause have no idea how that works) and get to purchase clubs we think we need to play at higher tiers. If we play for an hour with 4 people and 3 quit on 9th hole and we get just the same experience points as if we had played on our own. Boy that does not make sense...........................

Once people get up to say level 90, does it really matter?

A better solution would be this:

If people quit during a multiplayer game they should be docked 1000 points. By quit

I mean select to quit not get thrown out by slow internet connections.

I started a club and have 29 members that I myself recruited so as to have a reliable pool of folks that will finish no matter how bad a round they may be having and that way I don't have to deal with quitters.

I like the way you think Peter. WGT can easily see that someone X'd out of the match or not. A thousand XP points is a bit much, but the premise is solid.

Sadly though, I believe WGT could careless about the quitting issue.
