I would like to thanks Shrude and 1i in organising this CC v CC.

A lot of close games that could have gone either way. A great effort by AAA.

I hope others have made friendships and had fun playing the games - that is more important than the result (feel better now Mike?).I certainly did and look forward to playing with Chris again.

As for CN - awesome effort guys....and gal

Would like to thank Aussie Aussie Aussie for setting up the tournament and thread in the main WGT forums. Thank you so much.

I played my match with Greg (Forrrrrrr). He was a true gentleman and great company to play a match with.

He started out at 2 up in the very beginning of the match, but at the end, WGT got to him and he could not find the putter. I ended up winning 1 up at the end.

No matter win or lose, it is the people that we get to meet on this game. Greg thank you so much for the great game and good company. As well it was very nice to meet you.

Thanks for the tournament and whack em good.

    James

Brother Golfschuh made it tough. He went 1 up on 1 and made it stand up until a 34 footer on 8 tied it. First extra hole chip in did him in. Tough opponent for sure.

Another carcass for the dingo fence.  :-)

    Lets see here......

    OH MY LORDY LORDY!!

Looks like the Costly Nostrils have come up in front and not ONLY come up in front , but never really lost the lead to begin with!!

Very well done to both teams for getting these games done NICE & FAST.

Thank you very much to JLucky3333 & Cosa Nostra for the opportunity to play one of WGT's most Esteemed CC's

Thanks to OneEyedJohn for helping me get this together and to make it a reality.

Aussie Aussie Aussie! were shy coming into this game, faced with a team of Tour Legends with 7 of those under a 60.00 avge - nonetheless we did our best and as previously said if anything , we have learnt a few more skills and made a few more friends.

Heres the final results - 3 games unplayed

    AAA Lluciano def Darkenrahl

    AAA Katton333 def MBaggeese

    CN mjrgt03  def MysticGypsy

    CN hpurey  def HandyMan0462

    CN Aahna  def ColinPop

    CN Oneeyedjohn def PeterJock

    CN TracieBee def Lutjanid

    CN Alanti def 19CScott72

    CN Jlucky333  def Forrrrrrrrr

I would like to now Present Cosa Nostra this shiny new trophy to display on their Club Mantelpiece

    Congratulations Cosa Nostra!!

    oneeyedjohn:
I think u must be referring to driving down the right hand side onto the other fairway. I did it to PeterJock in our match, and he exclaimed he had never seen that before..

Yes it can give a decent approach angle if the Pin is tucked down n that back corner

    oneeyedjohn:
and a ball in the red helps.
    .

I know about the wind, but what is THIS you speak of?

It's great to see so much harmony in a WGT thread. I really enjoyed the match against Brian, and by the looks of it, everyone else was the same.

I'm keen to learn about the ball being in the red too....  :)

Is anyoneelse  keen for more matchplay? I would love to play more, especially over 18 holes. If so friend me please.

    Cheers

    Brad

Congrats Cosa Nostra on the win. Steam rolled us. Good luck all in those remaining dead rubbers.
