Won't let me equip my new 3 wood into my bag!!

  I just bought a new 3 wood and it won't let me put it in my bag!!  And yes I unchecked the box beside my old 3 wood and drug the new one into the bag!!  But when I hit SAVE it always comes up "unexpected error"...  I want to be able to use this club NOW!!  I paid for it!!

  Please try the below steps. Make sure that you are un-equipping the bag and not just emptying it. Hope this helps and thanks!

   

  1. Log into client and proceed to change equipment.

   

  2. Click on the bags tab.

   

  3. Un-check bag and save changes.

   

  4. Go back to change equipment.

   

  5. Click the bags tab.

   

  6. Drag desired bag to "drag bag to equip" area and save changes.

  I found that if you play a game with the equipment you presently have in your bag, the change equipment screen will work again, after you finish the game.

   

  I play a one hole game by going to WGT Community at the top of the page, than click on golf courses, then pick a stroke play course, Then pick a hole. Hit play hole now. After playing the hole I can change my equipment or ball.

   

  If you restart a game by closing the play screen, you will have to play another game or hole to reset the change equipment screen again, if you want to change something.

  I came here seeking answers before posting a thread of my own because I was having the same problem.  I rented the L90+ R11 Irons to test them out but once I got in game to equip them I kept getting the "Unexpected Error".  Even when it wasn't the R11s I was trying to equip I would get the error, because at one point I just tried to switch the balls ONLY back to the max meter and got the same error.

  A temporary fix that seems to work was already posted here.  I played a quick 1 hole 'Practice round" and once I got back to the main menu I was able to change equipment without an issue.  It is annoying and I shouldnt have to go through those motions just to change my gear but it works.  I submitted a bug report in the client so hopefully it gets fixed with the next update.

  The thought in my mind was a browser compatibility issue again. I don't have a stand bag but I was able to change balls and irons while unable to change specialty clubs (drivers, woods, wedges) until I switched browsers from Chrome to Safari.  No play was necessary to make it work.
