  I agree, 57 (or maybe 56) is too low !!! I would have really enjoy to play these 4 rounds (whatever the score), i've made 60 in many many tries and i know i won't make better...

  it's very frustrating !

  No, nothing like that.  Unless a big storm is coming through.  Bandon on the other hand.  I played in 40mph sustained winds with gusts to 70mph.  It was interesting.  I hit a 7 iron 230 yards with the wind and 80 yards against.  Normally that is a 150-160 club for me.

  56...lol... seems like you gotta get lucky to qualify (and God knows I'm not that).  Played as good as I can (21 putts) and missed by one...

  How ironic that we get tailwinds on 4 and 12 when a good round is going... normally you want tailwinds on short par 4's and 5's, and you get headwinds in the middle of a good round.. but on this course you want headwinds on those two holes, and the WGT gods will not allow it...  (although a headwind on #8 is the norm in the middle of a good round) -4 thru 3 holes (holeout for the 3rd time on #2), and as was completely expected, I got a big fat tailwind on #4... as I've said many times, anyone who thinks there is anything random about this game is a fool.

  # 2 seems like a eagle machine i eagled it like 3 times in a row too on my final  round #2 was my only eagle. still 55 tho so im happy.

  I told ya, Chambers Bay, love you looooong time!

  Ya, I've dribbled it in on 2 twice, but in high/heavy wind, that little hole is going to play tough, regardless of where the wind is pointing.

  I scanned the the leader board and was pleased to see the names of many I admire and adore who will qualify: donsprintr, Priestess, tarheelsrule, TheAceFactor and a few others I've known over time. It makes me very happy and I wish all the best of luck ;-}
