I am just back from a longer vacation. Sorry, too late to build a team here at Walhall. But thank you very much for inviting us. Next time Walhall will be there in time.

Hello everyone!

Things are getting hot on the Qualification Leaderboard!

I must congratulate with team Oceans Best #1 for completing all of their games in just 2 days... way to go!

Close to their final score also the other 2 teams at the top: Aphrodite and Omega Golf #1.

All of the teams below the "cut line" still have a good number of games to play, so nothing is really decided yet... keep on working on those rounds!

Sorry if this comes across as sour grapes, not my intention!

It is a shame that no matter how well any of my club's teams do (SEL1 looks like we might hit top 16), we are destined to play Aphrodite or one of the other massive clubs in the knockout (pretty sure I've read the rules correctly).

We will of course adhere to your rules and try our best to cause an upset, but for future versions of this event, may I suggest that the draw for the knockout rounds be based on the qualifying round even if it leads to an in club match (adds some spice in my opinion)? It would give the smaller clubs something extra to go for rather than know of their potential outcome in advance. I thought the Grand Prix qualifying was spot on.

Just a suggestion of course, we are of course very grateful for you and the team which puts on these events, our club really looks forward to them!

Best give those Leprechauns some beer, they're working fast with the leaderboard updates :)

Hey Affo, I hear you, but it would be unfair to change the rules of this tournament now that is running.

As I explained in private messages to both you and PTrenter, this time we favored the most credit earning Country Clubs, which also focuses more on avoiding teams from the same CC to be matched at the first round of the Knockouts.

Our first goal was actually to limit the number of teams to 32, so the fact we had to throw in the qualification round kind of blind sided us, but after all our original intentions remain the same.

We will definitely keep this in mind in the future: we grow our experience on Tournaments also thanks to well thought opinions like yours.
