Pulled Pin?

    I thought if you pulled the pin this wasn't supposed to happen?

    So I watch the replay (thanks for the 30 second commercial first WGT) and it shows the Flag is in. It was pulled. I do not understand.

    Judging from the sound, it hit the pin.

    Unfortunately, there's no proof of the flag's state because all replays show it "in" regardless, even on putts. (And the ball is shown "teed up" on the green BTW)

    I see two alternative explanations: Either the game put it back in place unwantedly, or your PC counted two mouseclicks, thus commanding it back in.

    A 3rd explanation is more likely: the pin was probably only pulled after the shot was struck. If so the pin remains in as far as the shot is concerned - conditions are determined at the moment of impact.

    Don't you hate it when you don't pull out in time?  Dangerous that way.
