    Hello

Dont know if this has been reported already but,

Sometimes , when Teeing off, the pin distance changes from when you prepare to hit to when youve hit your shot.

Here are 2 pics to show the difference. Might be a new bug.

    Distance changed from 505 - 448 ??

    It's not a bug.

Before the first shot you see the scorecard length of the hole which here probably follows a curve to the green on the right. Here in WGT-land, it may or may not be measured to one pin or green center, so differences may also appear on straight holes. When hovering over the blue button on the mini-map you will see the current distance to the pin.

Later you're always going to see the current distance to the active pin.

The number in the display may change during or after the shot, and it may be different for the player or his competitors.

I would have to disagree with that Alosso.  I believe it is a bug because it's only recently started showing up, plus, the distance does "not" change on the screen of the person hitting the shot, only on the screen of the person not hitting the shot.  The reverse is true also, when the other person is hitting, their distance on their screen does not change but it will change on the person watching the hit.

In the screenshots that Sarah has posted here, they are "her" screenshots, if the person driving the ball had taken the exact same screenshot at the exact same time, the distance would stay the same and not change.  I started noticing this approx 2 to 4 weeks ago, I can't put a finger on the exact date.  The difference between the two can easily 1 or 2 clubs so it could have a major impact on what club to hit.

Explains why my recent tee shot on 3rd hole Olympic (par 3) went 25 yards past green...

That, or my scroll wheel put me back up to my tee driver instead of my FWD.

Explanation with a special hint towards the dogleg nature of this hole:

Only the player in charge sees the original shot, that is club selection, backswing, release and final click. The others see the swing and the shot only when the click has happened. At this moment, the shot has been calculated, and apparently the original "scorecard" length has been replaced by the measured distance which was only visible on the blue dot before.

The display also changes when the ball isn't moved on the first hit, e.g. by putting.

Sorry, I'm not real sure I understand what all this means but this only happens on the first shot off the tee and it doesn't seem to happen when there are 4 people playing, only 2 or 3 people playing.  I just don't know which distance is the right one and it could make a big difference on my club selection off the tee.

    Thank you for your reply
