    Corwyn:
FocusBoost has no place in a Tough-It-Out event

Think we are all onboard with that BUT ...now you mentioned it C !! :

My next round might be diamond   ;-)

If money or credits to burn then, boost does / can ,/ could , cast a shadow though.

    Glad I got my 1st in b4................

    Missed 4 easy ( under 6 footers ) so par , -1, is possible....

God I hate that 'blade' and the increments...twated 2 past as 2 footers that went to 6+ ft

Missed 1 putt I should have made and made 1 putt I should not have made.

Those last 10 holes holes are tough. Could not reach the fairway on holes 9, 12, 14 and 18. Even had a slight tailwind on #18, the others had a crosswind.

These are fun are fun to play. Keep them coming Corwyn and WGT.

Finally finished my round... (that took long enough... interrupted by phone calls and enforced reboots after browser slowed down horribly).

In with a 75 that could have been a lot better. Will post details as soon as I can...

    Enjoyed it ..!!!

highest score for TIO, 81 :-)

out of practice, not playing much these days still managed to play this awesome tourney.

oh well, its the finish that matters eh.. birdie,par,par.. last one was an up/down from 186y

Hit 2 Greens, and birdied one of em' ..  thats good stuff *

11 fairways,,  i'm sure there is an award for that . haha

Got 2 huge deviations with 3 wood, but was expected playing the starters. few putts burned the edges - no biggie. A silly 3 putt which was not actually a 3 putt since my meter got stuck and hit it 0ft..lol ,  Rest all good..;p

Hope i'm able to  play the 2nd round

    take care all

Great to see you able to get the round in Kash!

Just over 4.5 hours left folks, if you want to post a R1 score for this month's event.

Got off to a clumsy start, and missed out on the potential birdie holes to claw it back. Quite happy in the end to get through the back9 with limited damage, though it sure would have been nice to make the putt on #18. Oh well...

Here's the card and tale of the tape:

#1 L : 8@100 dinged 3H to middle of green but bad push on 57ft lag left a tricky 5ft par save which dropped, phew! PAR

#2  L : 2@300 hit 3W lay-up off tee to leave fuller 50 club, but gave myself nasty sidehill; misjudged severity of slope and put it way right and long, from where I pushed 11ft save attempt, ugghh BOGEY

#3 B : 5@1100 slight push on 3W 2nd went way right into deep rough, arrgghh, and pushed attempted run up way short, dinged 20ft par try but took off to right. Clumsy BOGEY

    #4 L : 7@900 layup went a little long and left 41out, slight choke on 50wedge 93% 2yds long, and made 7ft save PAR

#5  R : 8@830 bad mishit 2nd was lucky to find gap and roll on to back, came really close with 21ft attempt  PAR

#6  B : 4@1100 nice drive, and dinged 2nd, >112, slight push on 9iron but rolled up to 2yds short and made 6ft putt right edge, phew!  BIRDIE

#7 L : 5@1030, tried 190fbs 96% but just short of power, and rolled back from top of slope, pushed 26ft putt PAR

#8 R : 5@1230 drive left >142, big sideslope for 2nd, had to aim way left to get safely on, and hit lousy lag from 32ft way short and left; relieved to bury 5ft save PAR

#9  R : 3@800 short of fairway, punch forward, and 3rd leaving 106, but pushed it and it careened out of fringe damn! However, saved by sinking fantastic 26ft dinged putt woo hoo!  PAR

#10  R: 7@515 dinged3W 1/3bs right on line but 6yds short, rats!  Probly should have hit driver; Flop escape barely made it, oops; Total mishit on 8.4ft par putt but lucky it slowed and curled in. PAR

    #11  B : 6@900 dingD >289 3W >98 , tried punch98 to bounce over ridge but came up 5yds short , but super dinged 14ft save! woo hoo! PAR

#12 R : 6@315 My normal strategy here is to play short iron to the forward tee, but this time played for rough instead cos of L-R wind, then played punch pushed far too far and in rough on right, doh!, and then pushed 3rd from rough into more rough!, flop 4th to 2yds, and made 5.3ft bogey save, phew! ugly BOGEY

#13 F : 8@1030, thought it needed more than 3H could hit, so tried 3W and went way long, lol! Decent lag but didn't come down as fast as expected, happy to make 4ft save PAR

#14 B : 5@1230 bounced it through rough to fairway; dinged 3W to 60, went way long with 3rd but got some roll back to 3yds  and sunk super 8ft downhill save phew!  PAR

#15 B : 3@800 came up short with 3rd expected more run pulled 15ft par attempt  BOGEY

    #16 B : 6@1030 dingD >360 ding3W >172 good line with 3rd 170 1/3bs but bounced right, nice ding with 28ft try  PAR

#17  F : 3@900 dingD >202 couldn't reach >14, flop was right on line but just short!  1.2ft save PAR

#18 B : 7@800 hit 95% 150fbs to reach Red tee , ding Driver from there 234yds >156 , played nice roll-down deliberate push into slope with 6i , but all that wonderful course management spoiled by a horseshoe out with 12ft par attempt, hit just too hard and low  BOGEY

Hmmm. My first sub-70 round in TIO (I think?), but it doesn't feel like it counts. Playing off the red tees was too easy, and I played very poorly. I can see a low 60 out there for someone who dings it and putts well.

    Round 2: 69

    A 65 / 66 my guess for best 2nd R.....couldn't putt anything between 6 and 12 ft...

Only these 3 good ones kept the score half decent ! :-)
