I have been giving this some thought. Essentially, once we put any money into the game, we are no longer riding for free, but have become paying customers. When one pays for services, one generally gets the service paid for ( coach or 1st class), and as paying customers we earn the right to make suggestions as to that service.
It was greed that led to a near failure of the world economy, and any business that fails to consider the customer in favor of monetary gain usually ends up on the road to collapse.
I have enjoyed many of the improvements to this wonderful game, and have invited many folks to share in my addiction, but the quality of play continues in a downward spiral.Too many adds, in too many places causing more glitches. I'm starting to worry about my bladder, I want to win a trip, I need the best equipment..and yet still.. the swing meter is epileptic, I get flashes of tournament screens between the adds above the scorecard and the whole thing seems to be getting less and less enjoyable as the serenity of good friends and good golf becomes secondary to MONEY.
Grassroots movements can snowball swiftly, especially if the Emperor is nude. Please try a different approach to the stockholders before we are so tired of the commercial aspect that we move on, or go back to our playstations,x boxes and wii's. For less than 1/2 of what I've invested in WGT, I get birds chirping, idiot commentators, decent golf, and NO advertising.
One possible solution..force feed us the adds, and then share the wealth..if a player wins a match, Award that with some wgt credit, say 500 credits for a win..less quitting, more spent on equipment, and none of that buy this to get credits stuff.
just my opinion, but others are responding too
