I've noticed overhead advertising above the scorecard and the accompanying "glitches as the screen resolves to "full. Fellas...we are bombarded by ads everywhere and I'm not against the revenue that goes towards improving the WGT experience, BUT when the ads start affecting the game and causing more incidents that resemble the still problematic swing meter, then the overall quality and enjoyment suffer as well.

The Airlines made 2.5 BILLION charging for baggage , will WGT overwhelm the game with so much advertising glitter that the game becomes #2 and profit precludes playability? I hope NOT!.

My page has not updated since the 13th Dec. I have entered many stroke play games, no results posted.

Get rid of the ads, update more often.

I understand the ads have to be there, place them somewhere else.

My video card now spins up, you can hear the fan increase RPM and starts to howl.

Due to the increased graphics for ads, smaller font size.

    Not a good choice WGT.

Not only that, no stats for the games I have played are entered?  What if I played the best round yet, I could be missing out.

The game is "free", but I have added atleast $100 dollars into my account.

    C"MON!!!

I totally agree.  The screen moving up and down is annoying.  Greed is at work here, I pay enough to play the game.  I'm out of here if it continues.

ok i have the anwer  and your arguments are now  invalid:

exactly as the pros, the ads will be inside the game, banners and such, including a car or whatever if I hole a par three, the ads must comply with the PGA  ace reward factors and so on.

How true!! All of the comments and opinions are so correct!

DO something about this WGT!!! Otherwise some of us might not be back.

Good luck on getting a refund on money spent on credits. I have thousands right now, waiting to get the right equipment, spend it on something good,

Who here that reads this should forward to the right moderator, I looked and can't seem to find the right thread or person.

Good idea, If there is an ace, then we should be rewarded. What do you think the chances of this happening are?

I have been giving this some thought. Essentially, once we put any money into the game, we are no longer riding for free, but have become paying customers. When one pays for services, one generally gets the service paid for ( coach or 1st class), and as paying customers we earn the right to make suggestions as to that service.

It was greed that led to a near failure of the world economy, and any business that fails to consider the customer in favor of monetary gain usually ends up on the road to collapse.

I have enjoyed many of the improvements to this wonderful game, and have invited many folks to share in my addiction, but the quality of play continues in a downward spiral.Too many adds, in too many places causing more glitches. I'm starting to worry about my bladder, I want to win a trip, I need the best equipment..and yet still.. the swing meter is epileptic, I get flashes of tournament screens between the adds above the scorecard and the whole thing seems to be getting less and less enjoyable as the serenity of good friends and good golf becomes secondary to MONEY.

Grassroots movements can snowball swiftly, especially if the Emperor is nude. Please try a different approach to the stockholders before we are so tired of the commercial aspect that we move on, or go back to our playstations,x boxes and wii's. For less than 1/2 of what I've invested in WGT, I get birds chirping, idiot commentators, decent golf, and NO advertising.

One possible solution..force feed us the adds, and then share the wealth..if a player wins a match, Award that with some wgt credit, say 500 credits for a win..less quitting, more spent on equipment, and none of that buy this to get credits stuff.

just my opinion, but others are responding too

I read all these posts about how bad the ads are ... Being a daily player I don't hardly notice the advertisements at all. in no way have they affected the performance of my game. My game runs as smoothly, with minimal meter spikes, as before the advertising.

The only thing giving me a headache is all the whining and complaining about WGT trying to make a buck
