With a 3 meter speed , and same stats as r11, I think wgt would have a huge income there!

THis is the new yellow thread

Way things have gone so over due it's just strange.

Personally I think they missed a trick not bringing them out for the VUSO.  Whatever the delay is I hope they sort it soon for you.

On the What's new section of details about WGT Mobile at Itunes App page about the mobile update which was the same day as the last web update this is the last thing mentioned,

New Taylor Made R15 and RSI virtual clubs. Apparently the RSI clubs which are irons were supposed to have bee brought out with the April 30th update but didn't make it then.

There are 3 different RSI irons sets RSI 1 ,RSI 2, and RSI TP. Hopefully we will be getting one of the 3 sets soon. Might be a replacement for the R11 irons.

Posted about clubs in a few other places but this is my opinion.

First I understand the business model.   WGT has to come out with new clubs so that they can sell new clubs since our clubs never wear out, in my opinion a flaw in their model.

We don't need new clubs to make the game easier, it's too easy already.   Bringing out new clubs makes you more accurate, longer, etc.     This only brings scoring down and it's already way too low.

I think that we need a halt in the better clubs and balls until some thought is given into what the end result of better better better will be.   Do we really want the cut in the US Open Qualifying in 5 years to be 49.   It's probably going to be 55 this year.

Maybe the key is to limit the balls and clubs and as your clubs age make them less accurate and that will be your incentive to buy new clubs.   We currently have a driver that is rated at 287 and easily will average 305 to 310.   We have irons that go 225 and stop on a dime in a 10 foot circle of the pin.   Do we really need better than that?   I'm a 5 handicap in real golf, played for many years.   I can't hit shots like that and neither can the guys who play on TV every week.

The views and graphics on WGT are realistic.   The play is not and it is only getting worse by the week.  How about if we put some thought into that rather than into how we design a new avatar or make even better (and more expensive balls).  Paying $28 a dozen for virtual balls versus $50 a dozen for real ones seems a little extreme doesn't it.

Good point.  I think most would agree it's all got out of hand.  Think one article said that at the RL CB it's going to be hard to aim at the green, just got to roll it up.  Cream will still float though.

Here whacking in 55s or under is crazy really, but also the cream can float.

If they could pull of the detune trick and still keep this game as broadly appealing that could only be a good thing, but can they with the high price ball sales business model in play?  having to actually play the course more rather than darts at the pin might actually reduce the effectiveness of the auto dinger too, which I think is a huge issue here too.

In the meantime I do understand why a good sub L97 TL would be asking for a 3 meter on the L90s R11s though.

Some good ideas in there how to do it over time though too.  No one would be playing a RG with anything other than everything at 100% of what they could get, but yes equipment is an issue.  If anyone thinks we need to play CB anything approaching like they must IRL take one look at those scores.

No disrespect but are you serious ? You have the top clubs in the game with the slowest meter , and then use a ball L70 Nike to make the meter even slower . Then you shoot 5 different  times to qualify for the Open 55 being the lowest . Then you have the nerve to say not only is the game too easy but no need for better clubs for lower L 90 players . Really dude ? Really ?

Unless WGT is willing to make all clubs over L 90 , Legend + it wont happen . Too many sand baggers making it hard for the honest players .But it may happen .

I guess this isn't the new yellow thread. It took WGT 6 days to release the RSi2 irons with the same stats as R11 except 4.5 spin and 3.0 meter.
