'Heartbeat sound"

  Of course, WGT would have to set it up correctly. It would not drive you crazy since that sound could only occur twice per hole.

  The first time it would be heard is if you hit a within 10 feet of the hole from the fairway. On a par 3, it would have to be the first shot. On a par 4, it would be the first OR second shot from fairway. On a par 5, it could be the 2nd OR 3rd shot from the fairway that lands within 10 feet of hole.

  On a putt, the sound would only be heard ONCE on the FIRST attempt if it is within 2 feet.

  As for me I will request the distance is extended to 20 feet so I can hear it occasionally.

  i too heard the "heartbeat" on a solid approach in a stroke play game, probably the last time i will hear any of "new"  sounds  because i noticed every time one of the new sounds are heard my resource sniffer in maxthon lights up w/  a bunch of WGT  media stuff , im wondering if it causes my meter to stutter @ times..

  You realize that wgt "updates and improvements" comprises two stages: the first is the IT guys thinking them up and implementing them, and the second is the Mods posting apologies for all the glitches, with advice on how to turn them off or ignore them.

  In other words, be careful what you wish for.

  I heard the single heartbeat on a shot Friday or Saturday when my approach stopped less than a yard from the hole but I didn't hear anything except the applause when I holed a 238 yard 3 iron for a double eagle  Wednesday or Thursday.

  yep Ive heard a single heart beat a few times..BUT THEN..... heard myself cuss after missing the easy putt after words    hehehe
