the new advertisements

  These advertisements before each screenplay advance is for the birds-(not birdies)..why wgt?Its difficult enough to stay focused, now things which are of no concern are being forcebly shown., between gameplay screens..me..I'm interested in gameplay, not all that stuff, that belongs in a catalog or other store area. just my two cents worth

  My page has not updated since the 13th Dec. I have entered many stroke play games, no results posted.

   

  Get rid of the ads, update more often.

   

  I understand the ads have to be there, place them somewhere else.

   

  My video card now spins up, you can hear the fan increase RPM and starts to howl.

   

  All due to the increased graphics for ads, smaller font size. Not a good choice WGT.

   

  Not only that, no stats for the games I have played are entered???? What if I played the best round yet, I could be missing out on alot.

   

  The game is "free", but yet I have added atleast $100 dollars into my account.

  I've always thought the purpose of online ads is to get the viewer to CLICK on the ad.    Tell me, how many players are clicking these ads in the middle of a game?

  Like BigArnl said above... these ads do not belong on the gameplay screens... find another location WGT.

  The ads are a distraction and slow down the game. As much as I like WGT, I dislike the ads more. Get rid of the ads and I'll be back.

  An apology is in order, please accept my sincerest apology WGT, for those who yet haven't used full screen mode, it is a way to combat advertisements...

  There are plenty of free programs online to stop flash ads from appearing or loading on web pages, just do a simple Google search to find a download.

  It's not the ads that appear vexatious, it's the jumping animated page the ads are on that's distracting, to me.

  Here is a Thread I started 2 days ago....

  WGT...Please. Stop already. Now you have to throw up "Advertising Logo's" between EVERY hole....Come ON! It's just another annoying little distraction. Can you please stop. Every other time I come on its something different. What you may think is cool / nice / great - others may find some of your new additions- not so cool / not so great / very annoying. Could you take down the logo's between holes. Advertising before a game or after is I'm sure a standard practice, BUT...every hole we have to pull the mouse down to continue on. It is just down right "annoying". I will try to wait "patiently for MAYBE..juuust maybe a response or your take on this. TY...edge

  Excuse my candor/ direct to the point opinion but, I have been subtle in the past and the subject falls to the wayside....

  Blocking ads with programs is no different than using pop-up blockers which are not permitted.Though blocking out the ads with full screen does help.

  In regards to wgt "Replys".....THEY NEVER DO. - unbelievable.
