I doubted my Redwood when I got it. I love it now.

    Avoid the Spider if possible.

If you can wait, the Redwood is the way to go.

I have never heard anyone say anything good about the spider.

    Happy hitting

Daytona is more precise with a slower meter .

    Very true.

I think he wants to buy something soon though. The Daytona does not open up till level 55.

For me there is nothing better than the Starter Putter. I know 99% of you disagree, but I think the best choice is to get other clubs. If you have the credits, certainly upgrade, but not after you've bought the Z Satin TP 54 and 60 wedges. An absolute STEAL at 220 credits combined. Another good choice is a 3wood, as 205 yards is not long enough to cope with Par 5s. I've played with the Spider and the Anser, and the Anser is useless with the Meter speed, and the Spider gets you close but never in. Learn to read the greens well and you will see my point.

Doodles, I totally agreewith  you on those opinions.  L14+ Satin wedges and the Starter putter are great (until I get the Daytona).  Spider always misses by fractions and Anser has better feel but the quicker meter renders it no better.  I sink the most putts with the old starter.

Just tried the Redwood and I'm really not sure. The meter speed seems to be quite low. A bit hard to upgrade to this from Starter as the 45ft setting is confusing. Do I need a calculator and a grid for putts now???
