Sometimes when I'm playing, the meter line suddenly releases and RACES all the way to th finish with no chance to react. The result is a shot that goes almost nowhere and has nothing to do with my play, but is penalizing. Not fair.
You're right, it's not fair. But it is a part of the game.
You need to develop the skill to let it go.. let it swing through without clicking again.. think of it as a 'practice swing'..
