Now this to me is what makes this game worlds apart from any other. Even in competition play (Deviations AS Tourny) I've found the true Legends that are out there are extremely helpful and their tips go a long way, if applied. Not taking anything away from TM's or Masters, they too have a great understanding of the game and will often share tips along the way.

Awesome display of class Jake, it would be a privilege to shoot a round with you as well as any true Legend of the "game".

    Happy Holidays to all  :)

if you shoot at or below your average it will drop. So sooner or later almost all Tour masters and Masters will make legend.

...With a little reservation. I mean, I got to 62.xx and the VEM, or shot randomness was extremely cranked-up. I've lost all control of my game to the point I'm unable to score like I did when I was at a 63 to 67 average. It's like hitting the proverbial wall.  lol

It used to take a score of 33 or better to lower my average at a 65, then a 32 at 64, then a 31 at 63, now it takes a score of 30 to even get my average to go down .10 or less. I'll need to post sub 30 scores to make a dent towards the average needed to make it to the Legend tier. I'm real close, but this VEM is a tall order to fill let me tell you.  : )

I suppose some players will overcome the increased VEM, but for now, my game is struggling. I wonder if this is the last hurdle I need to cross to become a Legend player? Like Jim said, I practice from the black tees and seem to do alright, as far as the VEM goes that is. I'd rather hit a 130 yard or so approach shot, then a 90 yard wedge shot.

But remember You don't have to be a great great player to be a great teacher.

    Very true Sting.

Barmy feel free to invite me to golf.  I'm in no way, shape, or form as good as Jake or Lee but I am still willing to help.  Anytime you want to golf or need advice feel free to invite.

I disagree BTB i think that if your giving tips to other lower players than you should know how to do them yourself... so you should be a great player. EX: would you want someone that couldn't multiply teaching your kid how to do calculus... i wouldn't.

Nonsense. Because someone knows 2+2=4 and teaches it to you that doesn't make them great. By your logic they would need to be Einstein to be acceptable. How many pitching coaches or quarterback coaches do you know by name? I'll bet you know the great pitchers and QBs though. Knowing how to and executing are 2 different things.

Great teachers come from those that understand and can communicate. If stats are needed to determine the ability to teach then there's a lot of posers in the world today. :-)

Beware all who get tight with this BarmyArmy and friend...her... and play her for credits. There are some pretty nasty evidence that she has 4 I REPEAT 4 accounts on WGT.

    Not accusing just warning,
