The best driver to pick

  I would just like some feedback from some top golfers that have played with all theses drivers if possible. The R9 (275yrds), Ping (272), Ping(278) and the R9(280). Firstly is the 5 yrds between R9s noticable...and from the limited shop post for the clubs....some say the 280 R9 has almost the same meter speed as the 275 R9 even if shown as faster. Also, the Ping 278 has the same speed meter on paper as the 280 R9..but people say otherwise. Thus does precision matter best so go with the Ping (278) or the less precision and a tadd more forgiveness of either R9? Right now im at 90%fairways with the highest rapture driver...but oakmont and bethpage...leave me a tadd to long sometimes... Thank you for your time Merk

  Hi, they all have their good and bad points.

  I prefer to max out distance but I know lvietri, prefers to be in fairway. In the end, it's your decision.

  forgot to say i play mostly with regular balls...so if there is a noticable diff. in swing meter speed between the top ping and r9...that would help...tks
