    I would like to wait Grebo's post but I can't :

What a great guy here (GreboTheCat) ! Congrats !

Yes I loose a match, but I gain a friend ! And this guy is awesome.

It was my 1st competition game, and this guy try to make me feel better and try to erase the pressure with his good mentality, good behaviour and what a skilled man !

More consistant than me, more putting-skilled ... better than me by a mile !

Thanks Grebo for the game. You're the one !

Just played Thomas, and what a tough tight game it was. he went in the water on the 18th and that was all the difference between us. I won 1 up.

Really enjoyed the game Thomas, thank you.

My fellow spartans have been really complimentary on our forum regarding their opponents. Greebo posted on here but as its his first post its under moderators

Lets hope the battle continues in the same manner, great stuff folks. First ever inter cc match for both teams and not a let down (apart from Jim kicking my ass lol)

My opponent, Tony, and I got a chance to play.  He was a damn good player with the WGT balls he was playing. I only won basically because I had better equipment IMO. Great round Tony.

thanks again for the game and yes maybe my equipment was a bit inferior to yours but cant use that as an excuse you certainly changed gear on the back nine game was closer than the score states but still 7 up to my new friend, lets do it again some time

    Thanks Tony

My first post has popped up earlier on in the  thread so hopefully this one will get through:

Dawa and I were as nervous as each other - it was my first competition match too -  and he did just as good a job of making me feel at ease.

He played a lot better than he says; I was 2 down by the end of the front 9 and I thought it was all over. I forgot to credit his brilliant eagle approach too (just as I was clawing back as well)! It just came down to  the luck of the balls on a couple of putts and approaches on the back 9.

We spent as much time chatting as we did playing shots and he's a real gent and a pleasure to play against.

Thanks again to Jim, Willy and Bubbs and those who  have worked hard to find matches and make the competition work. I'm very much looking forward to future tournaments between the clubs.

    Greebo

My match play against Jzmbrown was back and forth, very good player, we both made mistakes lol. His was on the 18th, over shot the green, would have won but still a good game. Coors71 1 up on the 18th.
