I was playing the best of par 4 rg and having been metered off the tee on hole 4 I ended up in a bad spot.

Watch me try to get out twice before losing 2 balls and being forced to wd the rg.

What irritated me most of all is that I didnt try and get greedy and just played for the nearest fairway, more especially the 2nd attempt where there is nothing between me and the fw, in fact the ball didn't even go where I aimed it!.

    See for yourselves.

Always said why take the ball, the penalty shot alone is enough damage to your score. If they stopped taking balls on missed shots I sure more people would buy better balls. Yesterday I was playing an AS game with the meter running like a kangaroo on a jack hammer luckily I didn't lose any balls, but it ruined a good game always trying to play safe.

The balls are expensive enough without taking them when you can't guarantee the meter. And before anybody says you don't get them back in real life, nobody grabs hold of your club and jerks it on the downswing.

    Hi

in that situation, would you really expect to hit through those brush/trees and expect it to come out? Your best shot there was to hit sideways to the right, to the fairway.

that result is as expected to me.

    Icon,

No, I didn't expect it to get to the fw on the first shot but I didnt expect a lost ball, the 2nd shot, I aimed 90 degrees right and definitely expected the fairway and the ball still hit the same tree and was also LOST

Neither shot should have cost me a ball is the pure simple fact of the matter!

Not sure about lost or not, but like ICON said, you needed to go dead right...your 2nd shot was still aimed up the FW.

You were at 90, but changed before the shot, below is your final aim

Just look at the mini map

i thought I saw the ball go ahead, even if it was right. you had to aim straight right, even maybe go backwards right. Hard to say from the view, you would have to make sure it's flying through open path. I am guessing there is no way to get through that brush...

Straight right works OK.  That's a hard spot to get to Liz!  I felt like I was on the Easter Egg hunt again. LOL

    Here's where I aimed.

Here's the replay.  Full 60 yd wedge
