what is the final consensus on the Level 94 MAx Irons ?

I dont get it ? The overall combined attributes are superior TO ANY

other iron set out there..... yet hardly anyone has these irons?

Is the attributed stats we are shown not true ?

The 4 precision,4 forgiveness, along with 4.5 swing meter?

Sounds too good to be true?

Any input would be appreciated before I spend 3+ g'z on emm

    Thanks

Lack of distance and spin as compared to other iron sets available ...

    Must have missed the L90s

new L90 irons are superior in key areas, unless you seriously must have that meter.

Trajectory is high but I doubt as high as the L90s.

In deepest Legend type levels real scoring "potential is with the L90 ones.

You are a TM so the reduced the lesser distance v the L90s distance is not an issue I guess.

i found the distances to be inconsistent when i tried them... i love the top level nikes and before that the r 11's which are now the rs's believe you will do better with the level 90 rs's

I played with the Max 94 irons for about a year until I reached L-97 and went to the Nike. I truly enjoyed the Max irons and did well with them ( about a year ago they snagged 7 HIO's in a month...a thread, Weird & Spooky, chronicles this). The distance spacing is wonderful and in concert with 100-75-50 wedges. The 3 iron was wanting but cured with the addition of a hybrid I needed for Merion # 3, 17 & 18. The earlier trend to the old R-11 with the dreaded 2.5 meter, retarded the success of the Max 94....in error I'm convinced.

i use them and like them alot, the slower meter helps me out loads.

i find the distance spot on apart from the fairway wood that seems to go further for me than stated . could do with more spin but just use balls with more spin.

i will probably stick with these clubs now cause it makes the game more enjoyable for me not slicing the ball to often :)

just try them on a free rental weekend and make up your own mind

i just think its a name thing where people has to have a brand name.

I use to hit the max x 3 wood after upgrading from the rocketballs 3 wood. I found the distance to be shorter than the rb3 wood, and the uber slow meter caused me to miss the ding more, due to it being the only club in my bag with that slow a meter speed. I've since upgraded again to the bertha 250 3 wood. All three clubs were hitting nike 81's.
