I'm having the same exact issue. I've already contacted customer support and waiting. It's a little weird that the Ad works but the game doesn't start. I've requested my credits back, however, we can't even play another game or do anything else (otherwise forfeit) until it's resolved.
So imo, they're actually taking much more than a delay/taking of 100 credits.
