ball issue

  get your mind out of the gutter...

  i have various golf balls.   why does the system default to the wgt starter ball when you it replaces the "used up" one... why doesn't it default to other name balls that you already have....

   and where could i set that default... i can't find it in any of the settings.

  You can't set it. WGT programming from the very beginning (8 years ago) locked only one ball into your "bag" at the beginning of a game. Rather than disqualify the player out of a game for running out of balls in a round they hard-coded the starter balls as the default 'fall back". Much easier to hard code the ball that everyone has.

  Just incorporate into your pre-game routine a look to ensure you have enough of your preferred ball in stock. If you have a different ball or two you want to use up, use them in practice or closest to the hole tourneys where the default to the starter ball wont hurt much.

  Capitalism.

  It's the easiest=cheapest way to program it, and any further effort would reduce their revenue while raising costs.

  Users' workaround: Always buy enough balls. Rumour has it, we may do so now even when the Starters came up(?)

  too right it does, almost to the point of aggravation.

  I was playing with a half used old Nike I wanted rid of, then when it finished I declined the offer to buy "u only have 1 hit left ", and then when it ran out I got another offer to buy and then after that I had this irritating red cricket ball above my hits meter, that kept popping up with an offer to buy the former ball I was using.

  what part of "fck off, I don't want to buy"  do they not understand.

  Since some update I have not any warning when I use a last ball. Nor " you have a hit left" neither "it's last ball" and so ...

  Missing notes, too many notes,

  "tournament over" messages or not,

  "settings not allowed in CC" or o.k.,

  some things appear as FUBAR, incoherent behavior of the program all over the place.

  My complaint has to do with balls. Two or three days ago I purchase 3 sleeves of Calloway Chrome vapor yellow balls and added them to the 3 I had purchased before. I remember having one taken out of play for hits. I cannot remember if I lost any. Today I get a pop up saying that this is the last ball of this type. I know that I have not used 11 balls out of the 12 that I had in my bag. I spend quite a bit of money buying credits and balls and equipment, but I absolutely know that I did not use that many balls, so something is wrong in this situation, and I want an answer as to where the balls went, before I invest any more money in this program.
