Unable to reinstall Driver after free rental expired

  I tried the R1 driver 93+  this weekend via the free rental.

  When i logged in today i got the popup message telling me , as expected, that the rental has expired giving me the option to buy said club or remove it. Not wishing to buy it  i clicked the apppropriate button and it directed me to the grid where you drag items across etc etc.

  Sadly the R1 driver was not there to remove but the blank space was obvious for me to drag across the G20 driver back in to the inventory. Duly dragged across I was unable to save the change because the 'save changes' button was greyed out whereas the 'cancel'  buttonwas the normal black.

  Consequently I'm a complete loss to know how to resolve said problem.

  Any attempts I've made are met with a dreaded "UNEXPECTED ERROR window!!

   

  Any help gratefully appreciated.

  same thing happening here tried putter and driver now cant change back.

  Happened to me , I dragged in different irons or another club that hadn't been rented  , then replaced with what I normally used, this then illuminated the save button ;-)

  yeah done that a few times but it just says error saving changes.

  Did the same to me this morning... closed/reopened the game client and  then it worked fine.

  It may be relative to those with bags which need to be uninstalled first. Complete the task of restoring and then reinstall bag.

  I can not access / install / reinstall / etc,,,etc,,, ANYTHING! THIS SUCKS!!!!!

  same here, tried everything and still locked out from playing for approx. 36 hrs. I noticed the rental clubs are still shown on my profile page, but removed from the game client screen. I suppose this causes the "unexpected error/inventory management error"

  Becomes tiresome and frustrating
