OK, I know this has been asked for many times in the past, but no harm asking again... can we PLEASE have some sort of notification on the opening screen of the game client when people have unread messages waiting for them?
The reason? Simple; many, many players, particularly ones that are new to WGT, only ever go to the game client, and have no idea there is a Profile/Messages page etc. Consequently, they have no idea when people are trying to make contact with them.
eg, I have recently friended 3 new players, and have messaged all 3 - no replies at all. I'm sure that if they ever do get back to me, it will be the same old story: "sorry, didn't know you had messaged me - didn't know about the message system".
So, please, just a small highlight on the opening screen of the game client - doesn't have to be a link, doesn't have to show up during play, just when the game client is opened.
Not too much to ask is it?
