I've played with hacks loads and they all have the same problem: Putting. They find it impossible to 2putt! Come on WGT, it's hard enough with things showing how to putt are very hard for someone new to this website. And most players on here are middle aged so some of them don't have a clue! A larger pin would exclusively for hacks whose putting stats for 4putts are over 50%. That would solve the problem!

Wouldn't a larger pin make the hole smaller???

I think he meant hole, from what I've read in the forums, Sgt gets things confused alot

IMO putting was fairly easy starting out.  I read the putting tips.  Counted my putter movement.  Point and Click made some putts.  Now I'm up to Tour Pro and the green speeds are picking up and the ball is moving alot more.

Not to get off subject but I think some of the factors WGT should  look at for changing tiers are Earnings and Equipment Purchases.  I'm not a cheapskate but I'm also not looking to spend alot of money on a free game.  From what I've read, many have advanced too fast and are now hating the game.  I'll just play it for what it is .

it's a resonable idea, but really what's the point?  you get better by practicing not by someone making it easier and to be honest we've all been in the same boat starting this game for the first time.

i'm a good putter and line reader in real life but struggle big time on here, it's just the way it is.

advice i give newbies when i'm playing with them is to go on the practice holes and whack it around the green giving yourself different putts to get used to the game. i did this yesterday trying out the big boys Redwood, so it applies to all levels :)
