Tightrope, simply allow the flash to animate, and you won't lose golf balls anymore. There's nothing wrong with the swing meter IMO. Flash animation is the culprit for the stuttering swing meter. It isn't any wonder WGT would never address the meter issue, there's nothing wrong with it.

A smooth meter lies in the hands of every member at WGT.com. Wait for the flash to animate. That's it. It works smoothly every-time.

P.S. Don't complain, telling me this doesn't work until you've tried it. It will work for everyone equally. The computer optimization rules however still apply.

If I have to do a workaround for a bug, it is still a bug. If it's not a bug, it is the result of a non optimal programming effort. One can list a million mitigating circumstances for WGT but that will not change the fact that we are suffering, all of us (more or less), from this issue and I am sore most players (who buys balls) have lost money (more or less) because of it.

WGT could win some goodwill by simply returning the balls. After all, in real golf you can go into the weeds and you will find at least 7 balls out of 10.

They can sell swimsuits in the shop that allows us to pick them out of the water at Kiawah 17 as well :)

To each their own Tightrope. For the time being, there's a way to stop loosing golf balls.

Send an e-mail to members@worldgolftour.com and see if WGT will return your lost golf balls.

I honestly believe if we could get WGT to eliminate the flash animations in the game-client like, the club name, the ball name, the player position animation in the mini-map, and the banner at Oakmont, we would all have a smooth meter barring everyone properly optimized their computers as well.

Eliminate the little WGT flash animations and we would all have a smooth meter that there is nothing wrong with.

    Did I get that right?

Don't worry Andy, WGT isn't threatened by this. Your life at WGT.com isn't going anywhere. Your going to have a smoother meter as a result.

Don't be such a stickler Andy, life is just way to short. We often wonder how you being so perfect, could ever exist in a imperfect world.

We?  I knew it!  I knew it!  There are two Richards!!

That explains a lot.  One Richard posts they need to change, then the other Richard posts they don't need to change.  Maybe you two could agree once in a while?

Huh? You keep getting stranger and stranger with every post against me Andy.

You should direct your instigating attention towards those members who actually lash-out against WGT since you care so much. Your constant forum instigation towards me is becoming obsessive.

WGTicon, or WGTsky, can you please moderate Andyson from harassing me in the WGT.com forums. The WGT support team has already been contacted of his forum abuse against me. This has gone on long enough.

I pointed out how your opinion changed overnight.  How WGT could remove certain animations and  the meter would be smooth.  The next morning your opinion was "there's nothing wrong with it."

Your opinion is fair game on the forums as is mine.  I did not attack you personally.  Then you made it personal by coming back, as is your habit, at me not the topic.

The meter issue is one of my favorite subjects and you know that.  If you don't want me to question your opinions on it, don't post there.  Simple.

I dont know about you guys, but I cant hit the "ding" line on any shot in the last 2 days. Before, I might hit it maybe 6 out of 10 times. Now I'm lucky to hit it once out of 10. I also find that the wind is not what it says it is and shots either come up short or long and the green speeds are a lottery. So, in a nutshell, The whole game is acting up. It is Gremlin season after all. Gonna clear my cache again and see if it can improve things, but it didn't the last time.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

You made a personal attack on me by questioning my opinion because it wasn't to your liking. That's where you went off-topic as everyone saw.

Are you a WGT.com moderator? I didn't think so. You have no right to post to me off-topic per the WGT.com Terms & Conditions. I can post in any thread I want without a personal attack, or a post that shows instigation (by you) towards me because you don't like the opinion I posted. Simple!

Who do you think you are? There are forum rules you have to abide by. Your not excluded from the rules as your soon going to find out.

WGTsky, or WGTicon, please moderate Andyson and keep him from harassing me in the WGT.com forums. He has no right to instigate, or badger me in these forums per the WGT.com Terms & Conditions. How long are the moderators going to allow this forum behavior from Andyson? This will only go on until the WGT moderators puts a stop to it.
