These are two putters that I a am unsure about. I have read the comments on both, but neither seems to stand out... I am not willing to go to lvl 44 to unlock the next putter, so I need to purchase one of these. I was wondering if anyone would like to give advice over which putter is better.

    Thanks, Ben

The Anser is more accurate. The meter is a little faster than the Spider but that's the trade off for the accuracy. The Spider has a slower meter but is less accurate. I recommend the Anser. I used it for a long time.  GL

The Daytona beats both by a long way if you can wait that long.

The Redwood ZB putter is exactly the same as the Daytona except for a little faster meter speed. The Redwood is unlocked much quicker and is 150 credits cheaper! And it looks cooler...

Slower meter speed is very important to some people. It can make a hell of a difference.

I guess I will get that Anser then, and maybe the Daytona later on. Thank-you for your help everyone.

I used the Spider from the time I made pro until they introduced the Daytona. I bought the Daytona the first time I saw it available. It is a very good putter but b better choice when you can unlock it at level 44 is the Redwood. It has almost the same attributes as the Daytona and the meter speed is closer to the Anser than the Daytona does. And if you upgrade your other clubs later their meter speed will be faster so it sort of makes sense to have a putter with a meter speed closer to your other clubs

. As for the Spider the only thing it has going for it imo is the slower meter but that can hurt you in the long run. I realize now that it is better to go for the faster meter speeds as soon as you can so when you get higher in the levels you won't be hit with meter shock. It took me quite some time to get used to the faster speeds because I used the slower speed clubs for so long.

I never paid attention to the meter speed because of Nivlac's primer on putting. Using higher scales for shorter putts dramatically reduces the backswing.  The Anser is actually what I call the Redwood's little brother.

The eventual upgrade to the Redwood  was the real game changer because they basically made the Anser more accurate and added a killer scale  (the 45 ft) so when you got the Redwood you already knew it and could appreciate the difference. Do not fear the meter speed and IMO the Spider doesn't belong in any decent putter comparison. GL
