on your ball what is the best way to accurately set the spin? there can be a big difference in distance between 100% spin and 50% spin, so how do you do it just guess?

Balls and clubs can vary greatly. The only way is to go on a practice round and take a note of the differences.

Use the dimples on the ball as a reference point. The way they are oriented makes it easy to get the same spot.  Right click on the game screen and use the zoom function.

And with the Callaway ball, the chevron on the the ball is a great reference point for setting the spin.

That bottom dot in the pic wasn't all the way to the bottom so if you use the bottom as your 100% you have easy points for 75,50 and 25.

I wouldn't know, I don't get that precise. I just illustrated one way you could do what you asked about.

In the example, 0 would be not touching the spin and 100% would be bottomed out. Fill in the dots from there.

When playing my ReadyGo CTTH every shot (except full wedges/punches) get full b/s.  I.E. my PW with 100% power 100% b/s travels 114 - 114.5Y.  If I have a 116.5 to 117Y shot I wil hit a 9i with full b/s at 90% power. I could easily just hit my PW with 100% power at 50% b/s but I've found full b/s shots provide much more accurate and consistent shots for me (as long as you don't miss Ding by a lot).

This could be a horrible idea!! but my scores have improved quite a bit doing this.  It's either 1,  in my head, 2, much easier to hit consistent shots because every shot can easily be repeated (no more, did I set b/s to 95%, or to 75%, or to 50% just right.... and even when I do, shot's fluctuate more when not using full b/s), or 3, a combination of both.

I could change my mind on this with new clubs, ball, or mood^.
