    :D

    I've got the TM RSi2's and I do it lol!  It's all about results right??!!  I'm rarely out of the top 10ish since I've made the switch and I find the simplicity comforting too ^.  I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow asking for help because I can't even get the ball on the green (that's gof for ya!).

    YankeeJim:

    Use the dimples on the ball as a reference point. The way they are oriented makes it easy to get the same spot.  Right click on the game screen and use the zoom function.

    I use the middle of the Callaway chevron nearly impossible not to get the  same spot every time. But I would love to see them bring the mobile spin adjustment to the web you can get very exact with it.

    11BC2:

    When playing my ReadyGo CTTH every shot (except full wedges/punches) get full b/s.  I.E. my PW with 100% power 100% b/s travels 114 - 114.5Y.  If I have a 116.5 to 117Y shot I wil hit a 9i with full b/s at 90% power. I could easily just hit my PW with 100% power at 50% b/s but I've found full b/s shots provide much more accurate and consistent shots for me (as long as you don't miss Ding by a lot).

    This could be a horrible idea!! but my scores have improved quite a bit doing this.  It's either 1,  in my head, 2, much easier to hit consistent shots because every shot can easily be repeated (no more, did I set b/s to 95%, or to 75%, or to 50% just right.... and even when I do, shot's fluctuate more when not using full b/s), or 3, a combination of both.

    I could change my mind on this with new clubs, ball, or mood^.

    Maybe you just do it coz the PW of the RSi2s is a pain.. With other irons in the set I think hitting full power with different spin gives better accuracy unless u're absolutely dead on with the percentages. For eg a 93% and 95% shots with 6i is a considerable difference in distance and trajectory with RSi2s.

    @ Razza

    I used to think the same (and might change my mind!) but for now I've been getting around 1.5 - 2 feet closer per hole on average.  Doesn't seem like much but scoring 50-65 instead of 75-85 in those ReadyGo's is difference from top 10 and breaking even.

    I'll keep at the experiment for a week or so and see how I feel then.

    All of the above advice is legit/helpful. However, what seems to be missing is identity of the ball. A ball with 2.5 spin as compared to one with 5.0 spin will behave much differently to the same percentage of applied spin. The 5.0 Nike Platinum, for example can be relied upon to respond to broader minute increments of spin. And then, of course, there is the spin rating with all the clubs being used with a particular ball. One size does not fit all.

    Indeed :)

    In fairness people probably took that as a gimme mostly, but with the OPs ? well worth pointing out.

    At the OP.  You still need to check any mapping people give you.  If 50% is usually too long with a club then you is at a differing understanding to the original mapper - assuming said original mapper is of sound mind..........Easy stuff but some work (and yes one yardage chart per one club ball combo).

    So if someone laughs just move on with head high - so to speak:)

    True Lily you just have to find out for yourself how much spin to use with your club and ball combo. But also realize that on certain holes like #2 at St. Andrews you have to add more spin to get close.

    So true Joe. It seems that at St. Andrews & St. George special spin treatments apply for results unlike any of the other courses in general...it seems  ;-}
