I find a lot of problems with WGT stuttering when playing

have tried WGT on various computers

Do you close the main window after you start a game? Probably the single biggest cause of meter issues having it open.  :-)

How does this have anything to do with pros playing on WGT. Just askin

It's the OP's thread, if you must know. He can go wherever he wants and I responded to him  with something that just might help him.

Did not mean anything , was just making a point on this is how threads start to get way off . Would have been just as easy to start another thread.

Regarding the original post, I heard one of the BBC comentators saying that one of the pros was 'learning the course using a computerised golf game before coming to the Open'. Just maybe it was WGT.

The tv announcers expanded a bit on "the computerised game"...Spieth said it was a golf simulator...the kind where you hit balls into a screen....not a pc/laptop game....

Oooh the naivety is refreshing... puts us cynic's to shame.

The Management team ( of the 21, soon to be 22yr old ) Really gonna let Him endorse a site / Company / product that He hasn't be richly rewarded for ??

He WAS playing WGT to learn the breaks !!

Stick to 'hot rods' my man, ya buff up a mean machine.. :))

I've got over a thousand games on wgt and have never had the 'jerky meter' problem except when i get throttled by my IP....i'm on dial-up!!!   Since i've learned how to 'bomb' them I never have a jerky meter anymore. It's not a fault of WGT's......just insufficient bandwidth.

Agreed that Spieth would not endorse anything without cash/contract...but, no reason to lie and say it was a screen simulator....lol...proof that he was NOT playing WGT was evident when he missed the putt on 17. I'd hazard a guess that both you and I would make that putt Andy....unless perhaps he had it set on tourney greens instead of championship greens......but then again, there was a quote in the Daily Mirror that said something about meter issues on 17 and 18.....by gawd, maybe you are right....doubtful....but possible....
