I just finished playing the Monthly Kiawah tourney and shot a +1 73. But I am almost as proud of that 73 as I was may 65 that I shot in one of our CC tourneys there yesterday, I had an awful front 9. And 4 just about killed me. Due to my wife distracting me I clicked the drive way way too early and duffed it into the weeds in front of the tee taking a lost ball penalty and a few lousy shots later I ended up with a +5 9 on the hole. I then bogeyed 7 making a stupid mistake. I needed a 30 on the backside to make par. I made 4 birdies in a row starting with 11. Parred 15 birdied 16 and parred 17&18 just missing birdie putts on both, Not a great 18 hole score but it made me realize that I can play well if I really put my mind to it.
