Not sure how wgt are working the averages out now.

I started the day at 53.44 and played sta b9 rg making a 30 and it went up to 54.04, I have since shot 28, 58 and 28 and ave hasnt changed.

Is it like a 1st round reset of sorts?

I'm not too worried about the camera changes but the graphics seem to be really whacked..Ball flashing on n off like a lightbulb and strange ball flight that seems to miss some frames, I have tried 3 browsers and have the same issue on all.

Lastly, the meter since the update is erratic to say the least..I see another downtime in our very near future :-)

    Peace,

    Liz

ps Yes, I have cleared out all my cache, flash cache and cookies and run full cleaners etc.

As it stands, the game's unplayable.  Putts don't roll, they lurch along in fits and starts.  Don't know how much of that is due to problems on my end, curious to know if others are experiencing the same.

For the meantime, looks like one hole per day for the cdp bonus.

edit:  Liz, just saw your post above, so confirms it's not just on my end.

Got the same issue, at least before the changes my many missed putts rolled nicely, now it's a double whammy, missed putt and an ugly stutter avoiding the hole.

Previously the saturation number for Tour Legends was 500 RR.  If WGT had increased the saturation number - then LESS rounds would be excluded and their average would have gone DOWN.   Not up.

I had played 333 Ranked Rounds as a TL up to last night.  Hence my average is not saturated.

Last night my average was 59.61

    Today I played my 334th Ranked Round -- shot a 54.

My average has gone up to 62.07

It can be nothing to do with a change to the Saturation number - I am nowhere near it. Any change putting me into Saturation would make my average go down.

Can anyone explain how an "UNSATURATED"  average can go UP???

I don't mind what the average actually is - but I'd like to understand it. Can't figure how 62 is a reasonable average - only a little over 20% of my rounds have been 63 or higher.

    The Hakman

Glad to know it's not just me. Having the same problems. There's a brief flash of the putted ball going past the hole before it goes in, too. Strobe golf could be considered an added feature, but nothing I'd choose.

    I'll hang in there....

THIS GAME IS THE WORST IT'S BEEN IN 2+ YEARS.

    PURE CRAP.

    COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE!!

A 6 year old kid could program/code and TEST  better than whoever programs for WGT. It's evident no one has the sense to TEST the play/game before opening it back up.

Heh. A 29 in the weekly unlimited jumped my average 4 strokes!!  Game plays fine, no issues there, but that 4 stroke jump was an eye-opener. LOL. No clue what's going on with the numbers.

In your case I could see a scenario that might make sense. Assume 54 is the average you need for Champion tier so WGT puts you above that. Also assume you need X number of rounds to get there after the 54 average. You're now on your way to fulfilling whatever that number is while having to get the average back down another .04. Just guessing here.  :-)

    some info

Game is playable, but more of a challenge. Just hung a 28 in the Merion RG in high winds, with a missed uphill 5 footer on 7

The scoring average is totally reset. Was around 54.5. After my 28, the average reverted to a 56. All previous TL scores were wiped out (unless I am in Champion tier, despite it saying I am still in the TL tier)

    WGTicon:

New Top Tiers – There are two new WGT tiers: Champion and Tour Champion, for top players based on play and posted scores. Players that qualify will automatically be moved up to the Champion tier to compete.

HA, you can all compete to be ME!
