callaway chrome soft ball lvl43

  i used to play the callaway Hex chrome lvl43 ball but now they slapped a new name on it and reintroduced it as the new chrome Soft balls..  same price, same stats, same everything so its kinda funny they bring it as "new"
  i was curious to see if they ruined my go to ball by any chance, so i bought a sleeve..
  
  well they did! but cant imagine it staying that way because the flight on those puppies cant be for real.. 
   
  its like playing with starter equip again.. no height, no bite and my 275 driver  full bs  lands around 240ish..
  
  please fix this pronto wgt!

  I try not to post un-positive comments - more than enough folks here to carry that banner - BUT

  Same issue with the L33 - they don't hold the greens anymore although it appears the distance is more to what it was previously

  I would have thought (with the "name" change) the ball would grab more and that would have been an acceptable adjustment (for myself at least)

  i have noticed that the putter and the divers when attempting to play the last few weeks take on a life of their own ???????????????????????????, this is to me totally ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!, hate to have to say it but please let the golfer have a bit more control of his game instead of consistently birdie/bogie/par routine!, it is very frustrating also to turn the back nine with a 3-under or better and watch how all of a sudden you are at plus-1 not having a clue of how the game took over all you achieved in two to three holes and then you cannot seem to putt for your life either?!. shot looks like a left to right or right to left and you set up aim and shoot and the ball doesn't even come off the club remotely close to what it should?, I have never played a game in 35- years that can take over what you do as much as this and AGAIN leads one to remove the game from the arsenal again and be done for it for good this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I just wish that WGT can leave the game alone when one is playing always tweaking on important tee shots meter runs at a certain speed one time then suddenly stops when your timing the shot to the point of roughing it and trying to recover from the meters sudden consistent inconsistently thanks and seriously frustrated player!!!!!!!!!!!, Dasmonputt

  Its still not fixed and i at least expect a response + refund for the bought sleeve  WGT!
  
  why use a "different" ball at all? if i understood correctly from a response in another thread the numbers are exactly the same.. just slap the name on the "old hex chrome's" please

  I have had the problem and fixed it both times once i cleared my cache, then it worked, but the 2nd time it didn't work but i tried maxthon browser and it worked again

  I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say WGT realized 3.5, 3.5, 2.0, 2.5 for stats on a ball @ $2.50 a sleeve was too good a deal compared to their other offerings. Once again, their solution, downgrade the performance, and try to convince their customers that only the name has changed. Just ask them, and they will tell you that they do not "downgrade" performance on equipment that has already been issued ( which is BS, as their constant meddling with the game parameters accomplishes the same thing) but hey, if they change the name on that equipment, then it's a "new" item and those stats are fair game to be effed with.

  You maybe right Doc. Suppose you are, then why dont they just come out and knock a .5 off here and there. As whats happened now is folk have got them balls mapped in and are coming up way short or instead of the usual spin, they are getting way less.

  Im not a great player but i knew how much spin and distance i needed from certain yardages thanks to a couple of individuals on here who advised me on mapping clubs/balls. It was the ding and the putting that kicked my asssss, hence mid road L.

  But also it may be just in our minds and WGT are laughing their socks off at us...who knows..cos i dont
