help with hitting the ball..

  everyone on here uses left mouse click to hit their shots.. but i was wondering if you can use something else? i think i'd play alot better if i could use SPACEBAR to hit the "ding" on the meter.. just like on "Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online" before they took the game down.. you'd think this would be simple.. just go into your control settings but change the key.. but nope, not even available.. is this even possible to do?

  there is no easy way to remap keys. Is it possible, yes, but I am not aware of an easy way

  Maybe WGT's unpaid tech guru Mr. Hope knows a way to do this.

  I've still got the bruise from the last time I fell off that pedestal Jay, don't put me up there again, lol.  : )

  As for L1hm's query, we've already had a chat about this, here. Have you considered a touchpad?

  An alternative, albeit somewhat time consuming (maybe 30minutes) is to simply use an Xbox or Ps3 controller via Xpadder.  You can re map the controller to emulate any keyboard strike or mouse click you want.  If using a Ps3 or other non Xbox controller you'll need additional software which actually registers your controller as an Xbox (to your system).

  I use Xpadder to play FPS when I don't care about competing and just want to drink a beer and blow some $hit up from my couch instead of sitting at a desk.

  Try this. It should work right now with no setup required.

  Use left mouse button to set up the shot power.

  Let go. 

  Use Keypad Enter button to hit the ding.

  I just tried it. you may be onto something.

  Thats interesting...  by rights then you could be able to use a combination of say SHIFT and LEFT arrow to drag your swing out...

  Try some different combos like SHIFT/ CTRL & Left arrowr , or Up arrow..

  nope, tried that  enter key doesn't stop the power bar

  You can remap mouse and keyboard with AutoHotkey.
