mkg335: Unfair, they said there wouldn't be any thinking on this test...
+1......it was a multi choice test with only one answer.......and I still flunked it
MBaggese: To go away soon from the Forums, but before I do...I'd like some of you to think about a few things...
Mike, I hope you stay in the forums, and playing the game as you are one of the the good guys here at WGT.
But it was the title that caught my eye, I am sure you said "I promise" one hot steamy night when the crickets were chirping and the alcohol was flowing.................but I digress.
As a player who is possibly in the throes of taking up internet Ping Pong as I heard the origins were in seedy Thai strip clubs.......I have never blamed WGT for my bad shots (well not often as I save that abuse for my playing partner for hitting the ball too close to the hole, the wrong spot on the green or having to play from a divot).
WGT IS still a great game but should be so much better. I have never accepted good as being the benchmark or sitting back and reveling on past glory - the moment you do not push for excellence is the day you start failing.
That for me is where this company has failed, a great game that could and should be so much better.
That said, the amount of whining you see in the forums you could be led to believe WGT manipulate every second shot of some players, usually the same players over and over again.
99% of the time the common denominator is the player is at fault, players like Baggs and myself realize that we are at fault, not the game. But the perennial whiners are simply to stupid to learn from their mistakes and proclaim it must be the game.
Nice to read your annual rant Mike.....and oh Mike and Mark
