the following 3 sets which are better I currently have the raptures, both g10 and i15 have high trajectories.

Is half a ball precision and 5 extra yards worth the higher meter speed for the i15's?

    crgade,

I chose the same set as you due to a couple of things, the trajectory and the swing meter speed. Theres not a lot of distance difference that is going to matter as far as I see things and the faster meter really threw me for a loop on the first set I bought.

I cannot speak to the I15's as i'm not leveled up enough to get them, but from what i've heard they are worth they wait, so long as you can handle the meter... Might be a good idea to go with the G10's for a little while to see how you like them as the meter is a bit slower, vs going all out for the even faster meter and finding out the hard way that you can't handle it.  Either way they are both superior to the clubs you currently have.  The high ball flight on the irons gives, in my opinion, far supperior stopping power on greens vs. a set with a lower ball flight but more spin.  Also, for either one you choose there will be a learning curve as wind will affect your shots much more, especially high winds.  I would send a shout out to anyone you can find who currenty has the I 15's, as they are a newer release, and those players probably had the g10's first.  You'll get a better comparison.

I play both and find the dinged shots are more accurate with the i15's, and I play 3 wedges and leave hybrid out of the bag most of the time so the extra 5 yards sometimes comes in handy.

With some of the balls now that slow down the meter I think the i15s are not much faster than the g10s, but will be a big adjustment from the Raptures.

Meter also seems smoother with i15s to me, anyway in short both are good sets but if I could only get 1 I'd go with the i15s.

The difference in meter speed will be one thing to centend with, but, IMO, the bigger thing to contend with with the i15's (coming from the Raptures) is the lessened forgiveness COMBINED with the faster meter.

I got the i15's and played them for a couple days then put them away. Until I can combine them with the GI2-SD2 balls that come with Legend status and slow down the meter without losing the distance, I'll stick with my TM Tour Preferred. The G10's are very, VERY good too and offer a slightly higher trajectory than the TM's.

I don't hit the ding very much as it is (I have good days and bad) and the extra forgiveness the TM's offer work very well for me.

To answer your question more directly...the i15's are ONLY worth it if you can hit the sweet spot with regularity. If you can do that, then yes.
