That scuttling noise gives me the heebie-jeebies! I'm used to doors in our house opening at night though - the cat's worked out how to open them by himself. :D He's a lot quieter than those dog-bots.

They are a bit eerie aren't they.

I've seen cats open doors, I expect some dogs can too, only problem is they don't shut them, lol.

Here's a real dog facing up to an earlier version of spot...

    Hi Guys

I wonder if Fido knows, that with careful aim and a raised hind leg he could probably cause a major short circuit (probable death) or at the very least, a serious corrosion problem ?

I'm not a betting person, but just in time for the Cheltenham Festival here I found this...

Even I can see this one's a nag, but I'm pretty sure it would it have a similar problem in the rain. And why does something that looks like a hardware store bargain bin need a hard hat anyway ?

    The future's looking bright...

    Cheers!

    Rich

    More from Ameca...

...I'm sad and glad at the same time that I won't be around to see how far robotics and AI will progress in the next 30 - 50 years, and Ameca, perhaps a tweak to your comedic timing wouldn't go amiss.
