I think you should both shake hands and enjoy your status. You're both too big hearted to be horrid to each other.

I have no problem with being a legend although there are a few too good for us lower tier legends.

My only suggestions is a driver giving us about 15 more yards and the ability not to set everyone's green speed to tournament when we join a game.  I get kicked out of games all the time because of that.  I think the green speed should be set to the person who is making the game.

    or another option,

let multi players each play their own unique default tier based green speed. No reason you can't hit into tourney greens while a lower tier player hits into v fast or fast greens.

Interesting conversation ... I agree with Mr. Mendoza ... i enjoy the game too much to let this psuedo-legend status I had thrust on me one day hamper my enthusiasm.

That said ... i did notice my playing habits have changed quite a bit lately.

    1) There are very few legends out there (I was told less than 2% of the playing population) and 99% of them kick my butt .. so I avoid them in matches where I can.

    2) As lower tiers "level up" and have access to the same equipment even pick up games and MPC's are not a fair contest to a player of my limited ability.  (and no the Legend Balls don't make up the difference in yardage).

I can see that I've gone from playing 10 to 12 games / day ..... to 1 or 2 games / day to get my experience points, usually the free tournaments, the WGA.   I rarely play RG's any longer .... and perhaps I'll do 1 or 2 MPC's a day ... It's just no fun hitting a 4 irons into greens hoping it stays on while your opponent is lobbing an 8 iron and stopping it on a dime.

If it weren't for the friends and camaraderie I have chatting with my CC members on the MIRC channel every evening ... and the great social networking.   I would not be here much at all.

Note:  Before someone says ... Come on now .. you have $1,335 in earnings ... don't forget .. that is NET earnings ... I did that playing in 1,200 RG's.
