WGTIcon - Server glitches don't explain WGT's callous disregard for the customer. The servers didn't outright lie to me and then ignore the thread for 9 months. The servers didn't write the email that said they would not even place a phone call to a supplier on behalf of WGT customers because even an inquiry on a poorly performing survey or apparently fraudulent one would be the same as "throwing the supplier under a bus." Yet WGT has no qualms about throwing us under a bus. Server glitches also didn't refuse to apologize for poor customer treatment.
Problems with the game play, whether they are due to poor programming on your end or the failure of servers, are still the fault of WGT. The culture of disregard for your customer spills over into the other areas of the company because management routinely allows it to with management's own poor performance. When management won't demand the company perform well to the customers and instead focuses on short-term profit, the rank and file workers will do a poor job. The results are glitches and unhappy customers.
It's easy to blame the servers, the ignorant customers, the dog spilling coffee on your keyboard, the alignment of the planets, etc., etc. It's a lot harder to turn your gaze inward and look at yourself with an analytical and critical eye.
Wgt needs to address game performance and customer issues. We don't want excuses. We want WGT to demand more from its people, starting with management, and give us a better company and game.
