Hey I was wondering do you use a wireless mouse? I was using one and found that same problem then switched to a better quality one and have had much better luck, same with the occasional early release on the swing. I found there is a slight delay in the timing and as you try to compensate you end up off just a bit one way or the other

YES YES YES - the meter has changed. All of a sudden the shot is executed a tenth of a second or so AFTER I click the mouse. I CANNOT LIVE WITH THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    +1 for:

Not to step on any wgt members toes but this isn't an easy fix. The fact that everyone I've ever played with has this issue is apparent and wgt can't keep holding their breath and dodging the fact that they need to implement some changes and or upgrades. Why you might ask, well doing simple ping or tracert tests to the wgt servers when the client is having the problem shows the network latency is insanely high, I've seen over 250+ms response times from the wgt server I'm connected to when I've had the problems(at least 50% of the time I might add). I know it's not my connection as my ping or tracert results to other remote servers/networks are fine during this time. This network lag can be caused by a few factors, but it's most likely due to server hardware overtaxing and or internet bandwidth on wgt's end, so it's a matter of wgt's IT staff to determine where the root cause is and implement changes to resolve the issue.

This happens to me if I try to play in Windows 7,I have found that when I play on XP the meter is steady and the bar stops exactly when I hit the mouse button.

Exactly what I was going to ask.   I was having similar problems with my wireless mouse, so I went and got a wired mouse and quickly learned how early of a clicker  I was.  The meter stops pretty much when I click it now.....was having to time it with the wireless mouse without realizing.  Hope this helps
