Well good old WGT has once again screwed me over, was in the process of playing my round and after I finished the hole I clicked the continue button as usual only to get the good old "Unexpected error" Message which I am sure many of you have had before. I then had to X out and refresh/reload WGT as one has to so as to be able to get back to the game screen.
Once this refreshed there was no option to continue with my round and when going back to look if I was still in the tournament and to my shock it said i had WD.
I emailed WGT and informed them and NO surprise, they dont give a SH&T and said there is nothing they can do.
They cant even read a email properly, as i TOLD them i did NOT WD and it was their usual "unexpected error" that caused me to for some bizarre reason not be able to continue the tournament.
Below is the email:
Good afternoon,
I would like to find out if there is any way I can play the week 45 single play again as it is part of me qualifying for the Nations cup tournament and a tournament in my country club.
I was in the process of playing the week 45 round earlier and got to about the 4th or 5th hole and then when I clicked continue after the hole the game crashed and came up with "Unexpected error" across the wgt blank screen.
As I have had this error before the only way to get off the screen is to X out and then reload the WGT game client. When I went to do this, WGT reloaded but there was no option to carry on with the tournament. When I went to the tournament page, it said that I had forfeited the tournament, which is definitely and honestly not the case.
I hope you can assist me with regards to this, as my participation in the Nations Cup tournament is at real jeopardy if I am not able to play this round.
Many thanks for your time and hope to hear from you soon
John

Thank you for contacting WGT Member Services,
Unfortunately once you are withdrawn from a tournament, there is no way to allow you back in. What you could do to qualify for your CC's tournament is to create a tournament within your Club with the same settings and use that score. Of course, you would need to discuss this with the Club owner.
Thank you for playing World Golf Tour.
