I am quite sure that a player with more time here than I, can tell me where & why I'm wrong on this, and I really hope so.

I'm at level 94 now & L tier. I have used the Nike Method 77+, almost, the entire climb from 77 to 94. Being that I love the putter, I had to get the Method 94+ with its .5, supposed, improvement in precision.

However, since dropping the coin on it ( I don't rent), I have missed between 20-30 putts inside 5 feet in just a few days. I don't think that has happened since I was in the lowest of tiers. BTW, I've been at L since level 90, or there about, so I've had the time to learn how to put at the tier.

I guess my question is, does added precision mean that I'm supposed to be more precise? Because I don't think it does. I do understand the game could just be set up to where you have to use a club for X amount of time to get back to dropping all the putts you once did. But, I just played Whistler L RG &, if not for 4 less than 5 footers missing, I'd have shot 60 instead of 64.

So, let the hammering away begin. And, I welcome it.

I'm also @ lvl. 94 L. I still swear by my Rossa  (or at it) as I'm a "miss ding" guy. The putting increments are spot on, but, when the dot speeds are being manipulated, your results may vary (lol). Distances to hole are calculated @ .7 for tourney greens. break is an entirely different matter, as dots lie. Good luck.

    Doc :)

Did you sell off the lvl 77+ ?    I also used that putter for a long time and when I switched to the 94 felt that I was missing a lot more short putts. Now that I've had it for so long I'm used to what it does and just figure I wasn't as good as I thought I was.

    (No hammering from me.)

Been missing quite a few last 5 days or so as well. Missed 4 inside 4 ft in last hr. I normally play 18 in 25-30 min so don't really take much time over it. Might have to take a better look as last time dots became weird u had to leave it for few seconds till they started rolling normal.

Same happened to me when I got the higher level nike, it also happened to my regular alt shot p. Give it some time and you'll get used to it.

It is a very good putter but not a great deal better than the level 77. The only real difference, that I have noticed, is that it holds it's line better on long putts.

I too use the Method, and am missing A LOT of putts under 6-7 ft.. It's frustrating. Think their playing with the dot speeds is more pronounced with shorter putts. I just keep; my hair short so I can't pull on it. :-)

Hey, thanks to everyone for the input. I do feel better about it now, and I don't enjoy hearing of others trouble, but in this case, and the players it came from, makes me feel as if I may be on the right path....finally. Maybe...

Thanks again, y'all. Oh, and yes I sold the 77 Method. Haven't gotten good enough yet to hit good money, but have been winning it back in RG's & a bit extra here & there. So, not selling it just wasn't good business IMO. : - )

I been with this game since 2012...between buying, renting and taking advantage of free rental weekends, I have tried almost every putter in the wgt pro shop....certainly, I have used the better (most popular) models. It dawned on me, after many $$$ spent and hours of playing with each model, that I just suck at putting. The reason is simply that I dont read greens well...neither speed nor break. No putter can do this for me. I am now using a Versa level 70, badly, but I'm done buying any more putters cause I know there isn't one that can help me. I see good players still using the starter putter...terrible specs on it, but they read the greens well so are effective with it.
